Was very dissatisfied by my experience. I have many tattoos on my body and have used many different artists. When speaking to Gavin, an artist at this shop I told him about an idea that I had for a big piece on my back. It is very unique and was hoping he would draw a quick rough draft just to see if we were on the same page. I was told that I would have to pay a deposit before he would draw anything. Which I suppose in the artist world does make sense when someone spends time on something. But after already having work done by him and my eagerness to get the work done that it might be a good investment seeing is that it was going to be a large piece that will be on my body forever. Not only being rude over text, but then posting on social media a picture of the definition of deposit. Knowing that I follow him and knowing that I would see it feels like a big slap in the face. Guess things happen for a reason because I would never want to support or trust in someone with something so important who behaves like this.

Outstanding. My artist, Mark, is not only incredibly detailed with the needle, but also gentle, accurate, and fast. The artwork hanging above his station and around the shop speaks to his artistic prowess and passion. His love and dedication to any canvas shines though on every piece. On top of all that, his bedside manner is fantastic - time flew by while I was in the chair. The atmosphere of the whole shop is that of a tightly bonded, professionally bonded work family. These guys all know their stuff and banter with each other just as much as their customers. I loved it. Mark is my guy. Im not looking for another artist, ever. Ive got mine. You want a tattoo that will look absolutely beautiful and have a damn good time doing it, go to Ivy & Oak.

Really classy tattoo shop, everybody is friendly, you can tell these artists work well together the moment you step inside the shop. I have yet to see an unhappy customer walk out of this place, these guys are focused and talented. Music is always good, atmosphere is pretty relaxing, reminds me of an art gallery with living art walking around, performing art on other living art. Pretty trippy. Thanks guys!
