AWFUL EXPERIENCE!! BUY BUY BABY MUCH BETTER!! Went to Babies R Us for my baby registry. I had an appointment at 10:00AM and the "consultant" was late. When she did arrive, there was NO apology or remorse but instead telling us that usually people come after 10. So I guess that makes it okay to be late to an appointment? Next, other employees were coming to the desk speaking about throwing up all night, NOT something a pregnant women wants to hear about any time much less at her baby registry. Nothing was really thoroughly explained to us. They handed us a booklet and in the booklet it says that Babies R Us provides consultants in case of any questions, well every time we had a question she was busy with other registries. I understand completely having other registries to deal with; however, do not advertise that you will have your personal consultant if you do not. Not to mention, I dont understand the purpose of an appointment if that is the case. At the end, we were trying to hand back our scanner and another employee took it from us and handed us the gift bag and said were done. We felt completely rushed out of there and like we were not important. Also, the next day, I wanted to log onto my registry to make a change and of course my email was entered wrong initially so I couldnt log on. After calling them, they said they couldnt help me and I had to call the 1-800 number. So the consultant messed it up but couldnt help me? I would be a lot more patient if she was on time and not having outside conversations as soon as she got there or maybe offered an apology! If I did not already print the invitations for our baby shower, I would have canceled and went to Buy Buy Baby. Their prices may be $1 or $2 higher; however, their customer service is GREAT (registered with Buy Buy Baby last August with my first child, she didnt make it so I was back again). They at least have employees working in EACH section so if you have any questions someone is always HAPPY and WILLING to help. Not to mention there is a personal consultant that walks with you throughout the store. Management seriously needs to review all of these complaints and take care of them. After all, the customers are the ones who give you your job security. AWFUL Experience.

The store itself is great but thats what you should expect for a big chair retail store like this. A one stop shop for all your baby and kid needs. They had everything we needed for our infant and our six year old. When we went to check out the young lady at the register was so disrespectful it was sad that she worked at a store that caters to young children, expecting mothers and mothers to infant children. We were not greeted properly or asked if we found everything we were looking for. She seemed frustrated that we were even in her lane. Only 3 lanes open on a Friday night at 6:30. After my wife tried to get her rewards thing scanned by her in the beginning of our transaction she tried once and said she will enter our phone number at the end. By this time I made my way to customer service to complain to someone about the non friendly associate. After my wife was done she made her way to customer service because the lady put our reward point on someone else name. She told my wife to pretty much deal with it and that she would have to take care of it at customer service. So after they had to go through and enter every item by hand(about 35 different items) we were given our points which equaled $20 we were finally done. After we got home we found out that the non friendly sales associate threw our stuff in the bag and broke open the laundry detergent and my wife forgot the 12 things of baby food we had purchased because she was so frustrated. I will visit this place again just because its so convenient and thats the only reason.

I recently waited online 4 hot holiday item... All employees were friendly and professional mgr Tony couldve brought the coffee n donuts when he came to work in morning (lol)... I had many interactions with him and watching his interactions with late Johnny late comers who tried to come late and were told by multiple people in line that they came out n did a count n they only had x amount of items so they wouldnt get one. But thought they were going to be slick n either skip line in front of people who had been there double to triple amount of time they were there or throw temper tantrum with him as well as other employees to try to get what they waited being very verbally abusive... Tony as well as HIS employees ALL HANDLED IT IN A EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL MANNOR.... I was extremely impressed.. Only have one comeplant that they turn holiday music off in middle of night or at least turn it down (lol)....

Im forced to give a star because if it were up to me i would give negative stars. These people purposely sent me the wrong gift. I paid for 3 day shipping for a dollhouse(37lbs) but instead I recieved a Gotham city batman doll (2lbs, 3 at most) the box even says 37lbs and there is a return to sender sticker as if they knew they were sending the wrong item. I cannot believe FedEx would let this slide. This was a Christmas gift for my 4 yr old. I cannot believe they would do this to a child. UNBELIEVABLE. This came the day I left on vacation, we landed maybe an hour ago(dec25th) its 2am and Im left with nothing. No stores open to get my daughter a different dollhouse. I am so upset I will NEVER buy from toysrus again.

I made a purchase during your sale on Thursday nov 24th spoke to someone in customer service on fri nov 25 to confirm and receive a refund for being charged for shipping and a week later on wed nov 30 I get an email cancelling my order and Im being told this company cant do anything about it except offer me 20% off of another car when they range from $200 and up?? How is that fair to me as a customer? You guys have definitely lost me as a customer and imagine the disappointment on my sons face for Christmas thanks a lot toys r us!

Placed done rare toys on lay away and when I went back to pay them off and pick them up, they had lost my items! D= However, everyone in the store was extremely helpful and bent over backwards to locate them for me. The managers Shannon and Joseph even tracked them down in toys r uss in other states and had them shipped to my house free of charge and partially reimbursed me for all the trouble and inconvenience. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, so grateful to them and their efforts to correct a mistake! Highly recommended!

We purchased our daughters crib and dresser just in time to pick it up before my husband deployed for 7 months. 2 days before he left (the day we picked it up), we noticed damage to the dresser. We called the store and spoke to Angel to put in a claim. She seemed to go above and beyond accommodating our situation by ordering the replacement dresser and ensuring a speedy delivery. We were very impressed with Angels customer service and appreciate her efforts in keeping us happy customers. Thanks Angel!
