About as good as it gets for being an outdoor suburban mall in Florida. Its clearly the center of congregation for residents of Northeast FL, and seems to draw a lot of tourists as well. The developers did a good job, but dont expect anything different from a hoakie suburban themed mall, but do expect to find a place that is well-maintained and heavily visited. Has a decent mix of retailers spanning every possible range of exclusivity, product, size, target customer, etc. Has a really good mix of restaurants as far as that goes for artificially master-planned developments circa our modern era. Mix of local restaurants helmed by well-known local chefs (think Moxie as one example that might not catch your eye without looking through an area city-magazine as it is not a chain, though it graces the presence of Capital Grille and J. Alexanders and Mitchells Fish Market, all well known and well-liked chains clustered at this particular "node"). For all the bad press and negative reputation NE FL has (for instance the long-running joke that it is an extension of SE GA), you certainly dont feel or notice any of the negative stereotypes while at this place. Asphalt covered in palm trees, various Latin and Caribbean dialects of Spanish and otherwise contributing to packed sidewalks of strolling crowds clearly hailing from near and far, with everyone definitely more tan than you could hope to get on your mini-trip from northern CA, the place is most certainly as much "FL" as one would hope to be immersed in based on all the common preconceived notions one has of the state. Worth a trip over on any trip to the area that is +3 days or longer. Maybe not for the shopping unless youre from a town smaller than a million people (the small end of the range of the decided population of the area, the high end of the range still only about 1.5 million) and you dont have some of the shopping that this place offers. But being that this is Jacksonville, it is not surprising that some of its best restaurants and nightlife/entertainment are this area (and not AS concentrated further inland downtown as some larger cities would be in comparison). Enjoy and dont forget - the place is OUTDOORS with palm trees and tropical planters for shade. Even in winter be ready to sweat if youre trying to turn heads in FL by wearing some chic or trending black article of clothing clearly better suited for a gray sky backdrop in NYC or SF. Whites and brights and flip flops everywhere.

I would have not given them any stars, but I had to in order to leave a review. I opened a credit card at Jareds Galleria of Jewelry and purchased a wedding ring for my wife in 2014. I paid the payments on my credit card on time and most of the times early. I even paid more than the minimum payment. I paid my balance off early in 2015 and was give a increase in credit shortly after. I did not purchase anything else after the wedding ring. Then 2 years later I was checking my credit score and it had dropped 10 points. When I researched what happened. I found out it had dropped 10 points because Jareds Galleria of Jewelry had closed my account without telling me because I had not made a purchase on the card in 2 years. I used the card for the wedding ring because I did not have the money at the time due to paying for my wifes (my fiancé at the time) medical bills from her cancer surgery. I could see if I had been late or missed payments, but for not spending money I did not have. I feel like its extortion! you either buy from us or well destroy your credit rating. I wouldnt let my worst enemy buy from this place. Stay away from Jareds unless you like to be ripped off!!!

St. Johns Town Center is the higher end mall in Jax. It is the only shopping center where youll find things like Tiffanys in our city. Its a quite nice mall that sprawls itself out over a massive area. Since its an outdoor mall you can pretend that you are getting a lot of exercise while you shop and not feels so guilty when you have dinner at Capital Grille or another fine dining option in the area. I like this mall quite a bit and travel to this end of town frequently despite the relatively long drive for my family. The one thing that nearly turns me into a maniac every time we visit though is the parking situation. It is dreadful, to put it kindly. This is the case with all malls of this design that Ive visited but is a terrible mistake by the people who plan it. I have driven away more than once because I drove around for too long trying to find a parking spot that wasnt more than a mile away. However, if you can actually secure yourself a close spot, youll be the king of the world and enjoy a very nice day of shopping at one of the shopping gems in Jax.

We were Celebrating my daughter in law birthday today! There was hardly no one at this location at around 5:30pm, only a few people at the bar. We still had to wait 10 mins for someone to clean off a table to accommodate 5 people! After having our drink orders taken, the waiter comes over to tell us our drinks were ordered and ranged up as frozen drinks, said he would correct it, which we were still overcharged for them. The waiter ranged them up incorrectly as frozen drinks instead of strawberry lemonades. After 20 minutes later, the waiter came over to take our entree orders. We ordered the variety appetizer, My husband and son both asked for medium-rare burgers, they both came well done. my son also ordered loaded mash potatoes with his burger, they gave him loaded french fries instead and charged an extra $1.99. Our food came out cold. My Bourbon shrimp and chicken was burnt, they let it cook too long!! This was the worst service and food. I would not suggest this location for a good family celebration.

Today was not a very good experience. My husband made an appointment a week ago for 3 of us to have pedicures. My husband waited 35 minutes with his feet in cold water while he waited for a nail tech to begin. My daughter waited 25 minutes. When I mentioned it to the manager all she said was "we have more techs coming in". No apology! Plus, charged full price for a rush through job. The tech clearly was not happy to be taken away from another client to do my husbands pedicure. She never spoke to him or asked if he wanted a beverage. Its wonderful to be a busy and successful salon but there is an element of customer service clearly lacking. VERY disappointing and stressful visit today.

This place is really amazing! Great shopping markets for fashionistas as well as amazing and delicious restaurants around each block! definitely a great place to bring a date to do a little window shopping or go out and grab a good bite to eat! Around this area you will find a Dicks Sporting Goods for you athletes and Barnes and Nobles for reading enthusiast such as myself! Just like many fancy places such as this you also have a Starbucks close to the center of it all. Really nice place to relax and enjoy the weather while taking a stroll around some nice looking markets. Definitely have many positive experience coming down to this place.
