Ive come to this Publix a handful of times over the years and just about every visit has been distasteful. After todays visit I will never again return to this store. Absolutely worst customer service I have ever experienced at a Publix. Stood in line for 20 minutes to order a sub. Patiently waited my turn. When it WAS my turn to order the associate asked what I wanted, provided him my order, and then two seconds later he asks to help the next customer. He then proceeds to fill this order while I wait once again for the next available associate. When the next associate was finally freed to make my sandwich, they had run out of wheat bread. Had my order been processed when it was given, they would have had the bread I wanted. To top it off, as I was speaking to the associate who was finally going to make my order, the original man I gave my order to couldnt seem to help but laugh over the bread predicament.

Im new to this area but my first and last visit was terrible!!! I asked an employee where an item was and rather than showing me like my Publix in Atlantic Beach did, she pointed and said, "That way" without giving me an aisle number or any help. AND being 7 months pregnant at that!! Thats sad!! It sounded like this used to be the Publix that I love back at the beach but with new management they need to realize things wont pan out right if they dont have GOOD employees-they will not have any customers to buy the food in which pays for those rude employees. I suspect the Publix will be shut down soon

I used to love this store. Ive shopped there for 25 years and until the current manager took over, they got 95% of my grocery money. Now they get about 5% of my budget. This latest manager is not at all focussed on customer satisfaction. Instead, he is full of excuses for the sorry state of the store. They are constantly understaffed in key departments and many of the people hired in the last year arent trained adequately. Im hoping for a new manager soon. I really miss all the management teams from the last 25 years. Every one of them were better than the current team who puts the customer last.

This place has the absolute worst pharmacy. Most of the pharmacy techs are lazy and rude. The turn over rate is crazy. Always someone new and training. They absolutely do not care about patients. Dont bother complaining to the manager shes a waste of time too. This is a substand Publix. People from the Bakery and deli are also lazy and rude. The only good thing about this store are the cashiers. They are always happy to help and very friendly. Always good to see a familiar face.

This is the best Publix in Jacksonville It has outstanding staff that are friendly patient and helpful The store is the perfect size and always well-stocked and clean I have shopped in Publix in Neptune Beach Jax Beach Marsh Landing Hodges Ortega University Orange Park and Riverside I guess you could say I am an expert on Publix and I like them all However Arlington River is my personal favorite

Somebody really needs to inspect this facility. 9 times out of 10 their organic kale in a bag is putrid and it cant be detected till the bag is opened. I was looking for some plantains and found one to be rotten to the core. I found a can with a bulge on the bottom that did not yield to pressure. I took it off the shelf and put it on the floor hoping no one would buy it and die of botulism.

I come here sometimes to get a pub sub! Charnelle in the deli is very nice! She didnt assist me but she noticed another customer struggling to make a decision on a pre-prepped sub and asked her very kindly if she could assist her in making a decision! She didnt have to ask her but she did and that was super kind!! Keep it up Charnelle!!

If you are there in the store, service is great. However... they never answer the phone. There isnt even an automated answering service to let you select which department you are looking for. After about 20 rings it is as if a fax machine picks up.

Its an average supermarket, not enough registers open, items missing on the shelves, no floor staff to ask where anything is. Whats noticeable about public however is all their chip readers are so slow, slower than any others Ive seen.

Horrible Love Publix but stopped for lunch today. Chicken was not fresh and given worst tenders they had. Cashier couldnt bother to bag anything because leaning forward while sitting seemed to be a chore. Never goto this store again.

The Publix delis most popular sandwich was the Philly Cheesesteak, and I had my first one in 1987. When I looked at the menu board yesterday, I didnt see it listed. New menu and new prices. Healthier ingredients.

Ive ordered there for subs a few times and not sure why I keep going back, hoping it will be better. The worst Publix deli Ive ever been too, especially via the online ordering system.

Once again Im disappointed in the service. At 6:15pm a busy time. They only had 3 people running the whole deli dept. I spent 10 mins just waiting for cold cuts.

A very shady location. They his sell items in the back, dont label them for sale and also mark up prices on items. Some of the cashiers are nice and helpful.

One of the better Publix in Jacksonville. Not sure why but the key lime pies taste better from here. They do a good job keeping this location the tidy.
