Iggy Bovard

When they first bought Winn Dixie out it was kind of crazy and confusing but now that everythings settled I think the store is much better. The produce is soooooo much better! And fresher! And I love that I dont see brown wilted salad bags and find partially rotting veggies in the bin. So thanks to new ownership for that. The store associates are always courteous and friendly so It always feels good walking in the door. Except that (I feel like I should mention this but...) they dont seem as happy like they were before so it makes me wonder? Well anyway, I love Harveys much more than Winn Dixie. They seem to care more about health and quality and better pricing a lot more.

Harveys replaced Winn Dixie in thid location. This store has come into such a higher standard than the wreck it was about 10-20years ago. When I visited way back then to do merchandising, it was the worst place on my route. I actually thought they would have to tear it down, and start over. The average customer here is also much better in good citizenship. Harveys in more affordable than Winn Dixie, and offers some improved food options. The Pharmacy works very hard to provide the best possible service.

The last few times Ive gone in here, the checkers didnt greet you like they normally do. I usually have someone approach me asking if I will buy their food for them, or buy foodstamps from them, and then get mad at you when you dont. On two occasions I used the restroom, and both times it was filthy, trash on the floor, smelly. Its a smaller store, so options arent alot. I used to go for the convenience but after the incidents with the 2 people, I will go to another store.

I dont know why you took our nice Winn Dixie and turned in into a trashy no name store. I live in the historic district for the past 15 years. I loved your store. How did you make the decision we want this generic crap instead of our great name brands and Winn Dixie brands, great selections of food. Well, Riverside knows our tastes. Publix it is. Such a shame to choose the lowest common denominator.

This Winn-Dixie is a well kept, friendly store with security and a very helpful staff of clerks and managers. They will assist you with any problems you may have. The pharmacy is also relatively quick at filling scripts and friendly. Ive never had anything bad happen to me in this store in spite of its location. Having a cop sub-station is a huge help.

The cashier had just given a customer a western union form to fill out. So I asked for a scratch ticket. She said no I had to wait until the other customer finished filling out the form. This in my opinion was the wrong thing to do. The time it took the customer to fill out the form she could have helped several other customers.

Store seemed clean enough, limited selection, and I didnt like getting panhandled by at least 3 different people for money or cigarettes on the way into and out of the store, much less with my 5 year old daughter (One of them got a earful from her, "MY DADDY DOESNT SMOKE WHY DO YOU KEEP ASKING HIM?!" haha)

I like how the employees greet you when you enter the store and the store is very clean, employees are very helpful. The prices are getting better but I compare prices and they are still too high compared to other stores. Over all I dont shop there anymore only when I forgot something.

This has got to be the worst Winn-Dixie in the chain. The line for customer service is always long and usually there is only one poor lady working. I feel sorry for her. At non-peak hours there will be maybe 2 registers open even though there are 10 people in line at each register.

And I thought the winn-dixie was bad! Harveys prices, produce selection, and complete lack of organic products pretty much assure Ill never be a regular shopper there but if you live in downtown or Springfield and you need toilet paper or another staple at 9pm, this is your place.

The worst and expensive . I believe this store is not part of the chain. Also I called in to the deli to have a ten piece dark meat fired chicken and I was picking it up after work. Got there nobody knew what I was talking about and the person that took my order was gone

My mother worker here every since i was in grade school. And she worked her way to seafood department manager. And when she passed away i. 2000 inever went back into this store until 9/1/16. Even though rhe store has changed I could feel her in the store.

I pick up some chicken and French fries. The fries had an hole in the bag and freezer burned chicken was sour and looked as though it was rewrapped. Reason I gave three stars because the staff are always app to help with a smile.

They dont carry bd candles. SERIOUSLY? This store works in a pinch. I would rather go to another Winn Dixie than this 1 most of time. They have limited items due to demand. The store is clean and the people are mostly friendly.

My shopping at Harveys Supermarket is usually quick and convenient- -plus I enjoyed the atmosphere and people-- plus I know where things that I need most of the time. They keep the products neatly clean and stock properly.

Ladies restroom was horrible. A nice one left in the toilet. Police officer onsite. The store had an overall dirty feel to it, maybe the restroom did it for me. I wouldnt recommend this store to anyone.

They had Dole Salad on sale 2 for $5 and it was wrong on my receipt. Customer service preferred to refund me than to honor the sign. I did go back a purchased a head of lettuce for 88cents lol

Harveys is a clean establishment. The shelves are well stocked and neat. The customer service is excellent. The area on the outside isnt so pleasant but the actual market is well secured.

Items are inexpensive and fully stocked. Employees are nice. Store is not too crowded. Bathrooms are decently clean. Other than the trademark bright yellow walls, I had a good experience.

I completely depend on this location since I live in down town. I love to go early in the mornings while they dont have much traffic. I absolutely love the friendly neighborhood feel! :)

Needs an upgrade to the produce section. Doesnt have some of my needs to be the local market. Also larger quantity of poultry, no reason a market runs out of boneless chicken breast.
