Sidewalk and curb are looking good but the whole exterior could use an update. This little neighborhood is what keeps that store alive and their to cheap to make it look nice, shame on them. I was hoping the renovation of the house across the street would have rubbed off on them. It really looks pretty dumpy rather go the extra 10 minutes and run over to mentor on the lake. Do you think they realize people enjoy a pleasant atmosphere when they are spending money? Wonder where the owners shop......

Very friendly staff, conveinent location, very understanding and accepting customer service people. They accept food stamps, WIC, and welcome all walks of life, all ethnicities, all socio-economic Customers. They may be a little higher priced than other stores, but you get what you pay for with convienence. Also, anyone who thinks this store is prejudiced against non-caucasian people is absolutely rediculous and highly likely to be prejudiced against white people.

I will never step foot in this store again. IGA is suppose to be for the small hometown people, both customers and employees. When new owners come in and fire employees that have been there for 27yrs for no reason, then they dont deserve my business. Customers love coming in and seeing the same smiling faces that they seen for over 2 decades. I wish I didnt even have to give one star, because there business doesnt even deserve that!!!

The same people complaining about the new owners are the same people that allowed the previous owner to have the store fall into disrepair. Who wants to shop at a grocery store with massive holes in the ceiling, water dripping on food, barely lit, and half full shelves? Luckily someone bought it so it can still be in our neighborhood.

Mentor Headlands is a very close community that cares about each other and the center of that community was IGA. But they tore a large hole in the heart of the community when the new owners let the long time employees that we love go for no reason. A business that does that does not deserve mine.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Dont buy anything frozen here. Everything is freezer burnt and packages are sometimes torn open in the box. Seen a whole cart of pizzas last time I was there that wasnt in a freezer. Not sure how long. Jus didnt seem right.

The new owners have done a wonderful job updating the IGA. That have a stocked store now. Good selection of wine and liquor.
