Im disappointedin them All the other times I went there I got five star service but yesterday I was with my friends we only had to dollars for something so we got a fountain drink because it came with a free refill so we went up to the cash register to get it the casheir said if youre not getting anything in it you dont need to pay for it. We went back to the dinning area to split it we got two cup and split the soda evenly when we were all done we refilled the the first cup and pured it in to both the other cups that counted as our free refill then the manage came up and said do you have a recite for those. We said no and explained to him what we were doing he said you have to pay per cup wether you fill it up or not and asked us to leave the store. Were kicked out for a simple mistake that they should have clarified now id pick gaint eagle over acme any day

Poorly run. Poorly laid out. Under staffed. Too much stocking during the day. Its clear that the staff feels that the customers are only annoyances keeping them from their work. Rehab was only partly done. It looks dirty and like they dont care about the customers. Usually I drive 7 minutes more to Giant Eagle or pay more at Mustard Seed. I hate days I have to shop there. Its a great group of friendly, helpful customers, though. Always happy to help out, reach things, and tell you where to find stuff. Clearly Albrechts dont shop at that one themselves.

It has everything we need and more. We cant wait to see what they will do to it after the renovation is complete. West Akron is fortunate to have a store this nice. Every year we do our holiday food shopping at this location. Their sales are right on target. We also use the pharmacy. They do a great job as well. We would like for them to have regular chili more frequently in the deli. It is excellent.

Different setup than most Acme stores, but the staff are readily available to help you navigate. Most of the basics (Dairy, Deli, Seafood) are quite a walk, due to the size of the store. They have a wide selection of organic and healthy options, or just the oddball ingredients you need for that one recipe we all have...

This is the grocery store that I most frequently go to due to convenience. My major issue with the store is that it is very crowded on the weekends as well as early evenings (right after work). If not for these would be a 5 star, but when it is crowded there always seem to be longish lines at the registers and such.

Please check the sell by dates before you purchase from here. I have bought a moldy pie and rotten hamburger from this location. Update, just gave acme another chance and waited in line for 40 minutes before I left!!!!! They only had 2 registers open with lines reaching halfway through the store.

Watch to be sure you are getting advertised prices. I went and purchased 30 items and was overcharged on 8 items. Items advertised as being on sale scanned at regular price. I did bring it to the stores attention and was refunded but come on people, thats ridiculous.

Newly updated independent Akron-owned grocery store. Prices are a little better than Giant Eagle, but not much. The store has an impressive beer and wine selection and I appreciate their convenient location within the city.

Recently renovated store that always has good sale items. They also keep the check outs well staffed which is the difference between Acme and Giant Eagle that keeps me going back to Acme.

You can never get service at the deli counter and the selection of the most healthy bread is usually low or out of stock. Its very aggravating.
