Ok so I worked at GameStop for 6 1/2 years. While Im not a fan of the company and the policies they put in place on the staff I always receive the best customer service at this location. This is coming from a store where I only knew one person. The entire management staff is superb at service and the tall staff member that asked me instantly if I was getting FFXV has my vote for being one of the top customer service experiences of 2016. The holiday staff left a lot to be desired but thats to be expected with the minimal training hours they give. When i HAVE to go to GameStop this is the only one I choose. And trust me when I say I would rather shop anywhere else than a company that forces a schedule on managers and gives unrealistic goals to the staff that causes them to barrage their customers with crap that, while it technically drives their business, it drives a lot of customers away. But this store has learned to ride that line of helpful and meeting a goal without being pushy and annoying.

Ive been shopping at game stop for a long time. I just moved to riverside and this was my first time in this store. Edward approached us and was very friendly. We asked for game opinion and he was very passionate and enthusiastic. On top of that he informed me of the demo that was out, to ensure I try it out. Additionally he offered other games like it that were even on sale, he did a great job. Ive worked retail before and I know how hard it can be to maintain a positive attitude, Edward really held up above standards. Good job :)

Manager Tommy will not honor online hold request even though I called and verified it was on hold. Someone called the next morning and he held us up from purchase to hold for Sean till 1pm. We were at the store with in 20 mins of the store opening the following day. Wanted us to drive across town to get after having the hold reserved first. Not very good customer service. Will be calling corporate as soon as Im off work. Tell it to my 9 yr old why he cant now have his Xmas present that he wants.

Took my ps4 in because was haven many issues and the manager argued with me and my wife and told me she wont do a refund or replace with a new one tried telling me my game cd is bad when it aint and tried to say my internet is bad when its fast as hell she had every excuse possible

Man do I love this GameStop! I go out of my way when the need for a game arises just to conversate with the friendly staff. They have helped me every time I went in and are highly knowledgeable of their products
