The bakery department is rude and unprofessional. I came to order a fondant cake for a baby shower. The cake decorator said it was too expensive and tried to convince me to order a buttercream cake instead. I dont know if she assumed I couldnt afford it or if she doesnt know how to work with fondant. Either way she didnt seem interested in helping me. Later, another employee from the bakery department told me he wouldnt deliver it to where I needed it because it was too far. I explained that online it states they will deliver up to 30 miles for $40 and my destination was only 12 miles away. He flat out told me he wouldnt do it. I had to speak to the manager who assured me in front of his employee that the cake could and would be delivered where I needed it. He rudely responded, "oh yea? And whos gonna take it?". I understood then that if he didnt know how to respect his boss, how could he possibly know how to provide decent customer service. In the end, I decided not to place the order. Customer service is just as important if not more important than the quality of the product you sell.

I shop at this store practically on a daily basis and im always disapointed with groceries I purchase from them 90% of the time. Either unexpired according to package date and still spoiled items or extremely over sweetened baked goods in the bakery department. Just today I went to Publix and purchased salmon fish and when I got home to start cooking and unwrapped the fish, a spoiled rotten smell coming from the fish. So I went to Publix to return the fish and when done I then purchased a carrot cake from the bakery section and when I got home and started to eat a piece, I noticed that the carrot cake was extremely over sweetened with too much sugar. It seems like Publix is purposely tying to kill me. Going to have to start my grocery shopping elsewhere and not give Publix my business anymore.

I love this publix. I went into the produce fruit section and saw some kale chips I liked but there were two different flavors but the package wasnt clear on the difference. So I asked an associate to help me, and two other associates came to join out baffled group to help me figure out the difference Im the flavors lol. We finally realized one of the flavors had added garlic and one didnt. I really appreciate the time they took to help me, they were all friendly and I walkes away with a smile. The employees in this place would go out of their way to help you. I love coming here. I pass a Walmart, 2 winn-dixies & another publix just to shop here. I always have pleasant experiences.

First Publix in Hialeah where the cashiers speak English. The workers all seem to be younger and move relatively fast. Checkout was much faster here than at other locations. The manager even moved me to a line with a shorter line. Best Publix Ive been to.
