Hobby Lobby’s owners, the Greens, say they have moral convictions against 4 of 20 birth control options available through the ACA. In fact, the Greens had no moral reservations before their filing a lawsuit in 2012, providing all of the birth control in question, except IUD’s. Recently, it has been brought to our attention that Hobby Lobby’s 401k investments are in the pharmaceutical companies, who make the birth control the Greens morally object. This raises another question. If the Greens have such moral objections to the birth control in question, then why would their company do business, or buy product from China? China is a communist nation, and doesnt allow its people to have the freedom to worship freely, and what about Chinas forced abortion policies? In the Treaty of Tripoli, the Government recognized it has in itself “no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquility”. So if a Government, which is by the people and for the people, recognizes it is not a person, then why would Hobby Lobby, a for–profit corporation, made by people for people, feels it has religious precedence over its employees? I say it does not. FRFA applies to non-profits; the Greens are asking the government to be treated as a corporation, to receive special privileges, but then be treated as an individual. Hobby Lobby is not a person, so no rights are violated. It has no rights to religious freedoms. The Greens are free to practice, preach and believe in anyone and in any way they so choose. They do not, however, have the right to impose their beliefs on everyone. The “slippery slope” would be if the SCOTUS rules in favor of Hobby Lobby. It will open the doors to discrimination and send our Country back in time.

Hobby Lobby is not what it used to be. At least this one isnt like the ones we used to go. First of all, when you walk in, the store is a mess. The floors are dirty and the shelves are in chaos. The people have not been very helpful, either. I used to love to go here, to find all sorts of things, but after a few trips to this one, Ive been disappointed every time. I keep finding rows of empty shelves and lots of damaged items. The only area that has much selection is the yarns. Luckily thats what I went for. As far as the prices, they are about average, but not worth driving to Davie. They need to clean up, organize and give their employees some lessons on how to treat customers. Today, we had to wait in line for an extra 5 min. or so, while the clerk had a personal chat with the woman in front of us. Thats just not an acceptable way to do business.

I think that a company that buys products from China and resells it to US is a sham. They say they do not support abortion but they know China forces their females to have abortions. They also know thta China has terrible working conditions as well. They are hypocrites. They also tell women what they can or can not get from their doctors. Does Hobby Lobby have the right to tell women what they can get from their doctor? I do not think so. I urge all people to boycott Hobby Lobby and never go in there unless they believe in going back to the stone ages on women rights. Women your rights to decide what goes on with your body is under threat. Hobby Lobby is in court trying to get a law passed stating companys do not have to pay for birth control if it is against their religion. So why is Hobby Lobby supporting China and forced abortion in China?

They have a little of almost everything but not enough of it to complete a project. No internet in store , have to go outside and come back in. Well if I head outside for Internet then that gives me enough time to think about my purchase and NOT purchase. Also having knowledgeable people about products or classes would be helpful. Some of the associates are nice and others have big EGOS especially in management. I only make trips here once every so often depending on service the previous trip to the store.. Our projects have varied from vinyl cutting, bottle caps designs, sewing, and other projects, etc.. No real knowledgeable associates just people filling the service spots.

I experienced the worse customer service from Hobby Lobbys emolyee Sheila. Although she acknowledged my presence at the counter she continued to rearrange the store and place back different fabrics. When I rang the bell on the counter for assistance after patiently waiting over 6 minutes, she rolled her eyes, was not pleasant to talk to and made a gesture that I slide her the fabric although I was handing it to her. Being ignored, giving hostile body language and the refusal to grab an object being passed by a customer is offensive & degrading. If you dont like your job or hate working with people, quit please.

Im all for you standing for your beliefs and not going by what the public option thinks. They want everyone to be as immoral as themselves so they can keep living immorally with no one around to judge their ways. People you know whats right and wrong, stop pushing it away. What you do should be an example and not an embarrassment. You should stand up for people who only want whats right. If you have a problem with getting pregnant then stop what your doing and quit using the excuse that others should pay for your selfish lifestyle. Play with fire and you will get burnt.

This is a big store with a lot of craft supplies. The name is a bit deceptive. If you are looking for model cars, helicopters, drones, planes, rockets, trains and other hobby supplies, dont go here. For some reason, the word hobby in Hobby Lobby refers to craft supplies. It is similar to Michaels and Jo Ann Fabrics. It was a bit hard to get help from an employee. It is a big store and not a lot of employees walking around to help customers.

This is a very nice Hobby Shop with knowledgeable staff. Further more, if they dont have an answer for you, they will take your number and call you later with an answer. That is amazing individual Sevice! And for you misanthropes who rely on religious / political beliefs to judge a review........ Get a life.! Fine store with fine staff and well stocked. That equals a good store!

Do to their religious bigotry I will not shop here. If you want a business to serve the public, leave your personal fairy tales beliefs at home. There are 7 billion people on this planet, that is more than sufficient to keep the population going. People that are responsible to not add to the human infestation without intention should be applauded not put down.

Great service and always find what I need . Just moved here a year ago, been trying to find a craft store close to me. Always clean , for the most part friendly people. Some of these people commenting about abortion and other politics need to just stop it. You all sound ridiculous. If i bothers you just dont shop there. Life goes on people! Good day all.
