Let me start off by saying, if you’re looking to simply get a dress that you see in the store, this may be your place. Years ago, my sister bought her prom dress there and was fine. However, anything above and beyond that, I had a bad experience. I’m not one to just get up and write a review, I reconsidered this multiple times, but I would want someone to warn me. Upon my initial visit, my rep was very nice! My family and I were impressed with the level of service and how she was being helpful, little did we know that would all end once the sale was made. The rep convinced me to buy a dress that I didn’t like, because of all the customizations I could’ve done to make it into more of what I want. A little uneasy, I trusted her as she reassured me it could be done and relatively inexpensive. Problem 1, at the point of purchase, I was very unsure. Immediately after scanning my card, I asked her to cancel the transaction (especially since the order was not yet made), she told me all sales were final (5 seconds after transaction). Problem 2, she said if I paid 60%, I could order the dress to get it in the time I wanted, and pay the other 40% in a month. However, they did not order the dress until a month later when I paid the other 40%, so now the expected arrival of this dress that needed so much work will be arriving 1 month before the wedding. Problem 3, she said she would call me with a quote on the fabric and accessories for the dress. She DID call and tell me their belts would be $400, I agree that I told her I would search for that elsewhere. (Keep in mind, she suggested all the customizations would not be much, and alterations were simple so not extremely expensive). However, she also promised to reach out to a designer and get a quote on the fabric…not only did I not receive that quote, that designer also supposedly stop designing (but of course, I had the option to buy the expensive veil in the store to use- which was what the designer was supposed to mimic). Without much assistance, I continued my endless online search to find everything that was promised. A few months later, she called to see how my search was going, I sent her some samples of what I found to get her opinion, she told me her feedback, and promised to call me that Monday to see how my weekend search was, and assist me if I hadn’t found anything. That Monday has yet to come. About another month later, she emailed me to see if I found a veil, I assume looking for another sale. The quote on customizations of the dress from their seamstress (which I was told is so easy anyone could do it), was going to be upwards of $700, to add the extra tulle and applique. Yes, not quite how our initial conversation went. All in all, I was a very stressed out bride, sleepless nights wondering what this dress would end up looking like, and quickly realizing the additional costs did not make sense, I purchased a new dress elsewhere. Though not in my initial budget, I am definitely relieved. Of course, they are also not able to assist in selling my unworn, undelivered dress. Good luck! This is in response to your comments: As you stated, yes, I was provided with the sales order AFTER I paid, at which time you refused to refund the card. Your offer was to give me the credit for bridesmaid dresses (which a-I would not spend that much and b-my dress wasnt even ordered at the time). I said the price would not be a problem, when you said it wouldnt cost much. Considering the price of the dress, I of course wouldnt expect the additions and alterations to cost just as much. Thank you anyways, and I also wish you a lifetime of happiness.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!! It gives me no pleasure writing this review but our experience was so bad that I feel compelled to warn anyone who might consider using this vendor. If it were possible to give a more negative review than poor then I would. We purchased a very, very expensive St. Puchi dress from her and she nearly destroyed our wedding in the end. Our first warning sign was when we tried purchasing the dress 8 months prior to our wedding. The first time we looked at the dress it had the price on the tag and it was steep but the dress was beautiful. We told her we wanted to look at a few more dresses before deciding. Two weeks later we made another appointment, telling her we had decided to go with her dress. After walking in and trying on the dress again just to be certain, my wife said she wanted it and thats when we discovered the price mysteriously had gone up $900 in two weeks. When we confronted her about it she claimed it was "mispriced" the first time we met with her. We started to walk out and told her we would drive to Orlando where the next St. Puchi vendor was and buy it from them. Magically the price went back down $900. Several months after signing the contract and placing 60% down (she originally demanded 75% even though industry standard is 50%) she then lied to us about when the dress was shipping and when it would arrive in order to collect the final 40% eight weeks prior to the dress actually being shipped. The contract very clearly says final payment is due after the dress is delivered. For several weeks she lied to us about why the dress hadnt arrived and that it had been misplace by St. Puchi etc., etc. It wasnt until after I saw the balance due charged to my credit card that I understood what was really going on. So after several weeks of sleepless nights and severe anxiety over whether we even had a dress, it arrived exactly to the day St. Puchi said it would arrive when we signed the contract 6 months prior. We then discovered she had misled us over how much the alterations would cost and even charged us to steam the dress after it had been wadded up in a box. If all this werent enough, Rashawn Rose then "rented" the matching veil for the dress to my wife for more than it would have cost to purchase it through someone else. My wife wore it for less than fifteen minutes to walk down the isle and say our vows. After the ceremony when I found out she had "rented" it from Rashawn Rose I predicted to my wife, when this veil is returned, Rose will falsely claim damages to try and get more money. Sure enough she did. This is not a vendor any bride should consider using, Im sorry to say. I only wish I had known prior to purchasing our dress and saved all the grief and heartache.

I visited Rashawn Rose after a recommendation from a coworker of mine and I must say that I love love love the dress that I picked out. I was a little early for my scheduled appointment and all the workers welcomed me and informed me that they would be right with me to assist me. They offered me refreshments while I waited and I also took a look around the store to see what dresses I like. There was one dress in particular that I fell in love with and of course it was the most expensive dress in the boutique. The rep Shawnetta, I believe that was her name, still insisted that I try on a few other dresses based on my body structure. She never asked me what budget I was in. It wasnt until I told her that I still loved the first dress that I tried on. I found out the dress was over $3k, but this young lady gave it to me at a discount rate. The same dress that I picked I saw advertised on Alfred Angelo for about $3500, so when she took almost $800 off I was so happy and excited. I told her that day that I did not have much money to put down as I was waiting to be refunded from Davids Bridal. She understood and took what I had and set me up on a payment plan that I could work with. Their dresses are so very detailed and I loved the fact that I was not rushed into anything. I also loved the fact that she suggested other dresses that were cheaper and wasnt trying to sale me on the expensive one. She even let me try on the dress that I loved a second time and I took pictures in it. When I walked out of the dressing room with that dress on all of the customers that were there stopped what they were doing to admire my dress. That made me feel even better for having decided on the dress. When it was time to make my first installment, I actually had to contact the store to remind them to take the payment, so I can honestly say that they are not out to get your money at all. I also was happy with the fact that I can add a corset to my dress as Davids Bridal does not offer this service. I know that I will have to pay extra, but it is my wedding and of course all eyes should be on me. Keep in my that you pay for what you get. You cannot expect to look like a million bucks, but only want to spend $500 on a dress. I want my day to be special and I want to feel just as special so if I would have needed to fly to Paris myself to get the dress that I want, I would do that, but thanks to Rashawn Rose, I didnt have to leave the State of Florida to get that look that I wanted. Keep up the good work ladies and I cant wait to see how it all comes together.
