Before we answer to the review of Mrs. Luciana, we would like to let everybody know that Jon Paul Jewelers has been in business since 1969 and never ever received a review like this. We are proud to have served the Local Community along with thousands of International Visitors for the last 42 years from the same location on the Galt Ocean Mile, here in Greater Fort Lauderdale. In all these years, we have received countless awards for the Lines of Jewelry that we represent and proudly display in our showcases, the uncommon craftsmanship of our full time Master Jewelers and the reliable and timely service in our Repair Department. We are also known as the people that can fix, repair, remodel and redesign any kind of jewelry, gold or platinum. For TEN YEARS, we have been voted winners of "BEST OF EAST BROWARD AWARD", again, TEN YEARS: we must have done few things right. Reviews are supposed to represent a way to praise a person or a business, or, by the same token, a civilized way to pinpoint a problem or a dissatisfaction. In both cases, to be honorable, reviews must be ACCURATE and most of all they have TO REFLECT THE TRUTH. To defend ourselves from the slanderous and thoroughly untrue review authored by Mrs.Luciana, the facts of the matter are as follows: Although she complains that someone went to North Carolina, Jon Paul Jewelers was still open for business 5 - 6 days per week. WE DO NOT CHARGE FOR CLEANING. We polished and rhodium plated two rings at a cost of $ 80.- (Rhodium cost $ 2,300.- per OZ), and on one other occasion spent five hours repairing an opening finger - mate ring shank that the customer completely broke in two pieces: for that we charged $ 175.- NOT FOR CLEANING. In one instance one diamond did fall out of a ring after we polished and did the rhodium: we replaced the diamond and repaired the ring AT NO COST FOR THE CUSTOMER. We have the testimonial that other members of Lucianas family are still our very satisfied Customers. USE A DIFFERENT JEWELER as these people LACK professionalism and have a VERY POOR QUALITY OF REPAIR on any jewelery. My case in point: My husband and I purchased our engagement rings, and two channel set eternity bands with diamonds all around. Jon Paul offered to adjust the ring after we purchased it but left in a 6 month vacation to NC. DISAPPOINTMENT #1. When he returned from his vacation the "changes" agreed upon before the purchase were now "compromissing the stability of the rings". DiSAPPOINTMENT #2. We took our rings to be cleaned there ONCE in FOUR YEARS and we were charged $175. DiSAPPOINTMENT #3. When the rings came back from "cleaning" a DIAMOND was MISSING. DISAPPOINTMENT #4. and for DISAPPOINTMENT #5 they "tried to fix" a wedding band clasp, by manhandling such a delicate piece of jewelery, leaving it with scars and completely useless, faulty hardware. And had the audacity to charge us $80 for labor. HORRIBLE JOB. TERRIBLE JEWELERS. Be prepared to be mislead! Their promises are empty! They charge for cleaning. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Customer service cant be beat! My husband and I have been going to Steven at Jon Paul Jewelers for several years. We have always been treated well and the quality of items purchased has been exceptional. Steven helped my husband design custom-made earrings for me and I have treasured them not only for the fine quality, but also the care and thought that went into making them. Steven has always gone above and beyond to find unique and special pieces and has always treated us wonderfully.

If it needs to be sized, altered, repaired - they do it right there in house with attention to quality. I find their prices competitive and extremely fair. Jon Paul and his staff made picking out an engagement ring very easy. I had lots of options. Because I wanted to surprise my girlfriend, I had to rely on them to guide me through the process.
