We the Daytona location yesterday to buy multiple items from fabric and yarn, to pricing sewing machines. Other than the personable friendly checkout lady, it was not impressive to say the least. Id have to say I dont like to complain or write bad reviews. As a business owner myself I would want an honest opinion. First, I had to use the bathroom, and can honestly say it was the most disgusting bathroom I have EVER used. The toilet itself was covered in splatters, there was crusted hand soap on the floor beneath the dispenser (which was empty), the floors looked like they had not been swept or moped in well over a month. The Five Guys restroom across parking lot was sparkling in comparison. Then I got online when I got home to see if I could find a larger collection of yarn, only to find that its $2.99 rather than Jo-anns price for $9.99. I understand that searching online you are able to find a better price, but that is just out of control!!

When you buy sale items at JoAnns--make sure they ring them up as advertised. This week I bought jewelry findings--supposedly priced at "buy two--get one free"--and when they didnt ring up that way, the cashier virtually called me a liar. It held up the checkout line, embarrassed me and wasted an hour of my time because I left empty handed. When I went back to talk to the manager to complain about false advertising, he was rude and unhelpful.

They generally have what Im looking for. I get everything but their quilting fabric because it is a poor quality. It bleeds, shrinks and warps pretty much everytime.

Really slow check out and virtually everything has a 20% discount so they dont have to honor 40-60% coupons. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.
