Never have I been treated like a common criminal for wanting to use a coupon from Michaels at Dr. Phillips in Orlando. Today Michaels lost a loyal customer thanks to a cashier and ERIN (who claimed to be the acting store manager) Michaels bombards you with coupons . My neighborhood store ALWAYS allows me to use 2 if I happen to have one from my Sunday paper like I did today and another from the emails they deliver and clog up my mail. But today I was near the Dr. Phillips location and I was spending a little over $100. The very rude cashier said I would have to come back the next day to use the 2nd coupon. I explained that I got one this morning in me email and the other today in my Sunday paper. It was just a savings of $6 out of $135. He called the "acting" manager ERIN who promptly read the fine print to me…now people are listening to us and lining up behind us. She also told me that even though people honor more than one that "technically" that are not supposed to and that SHE COULD BUT SHE CHOOSES NOT TO BECAUSE SHE DOESNT WANT TO. I told her I have been shopping at Michaels for many many years and never had people talk to me this way and all for $6. Hobby Lobby - you look worth the drive to me now and I will not be returning to Michaels anymore. The cashier was so mad at me for having the nerve to question him that he started slaming things around and started yelling at me. What a shame. Always been happy shopping there and giving them my money but no more.

After searching for weeks I finally was able to find a very specific ribbon, when all other stores with craft sections were out, this Michaels had it, and a -lot- of it! After looking right where I thought it would be, and couldnt find it, I started hunting the whole isle and almost immediately a woman came around the corner and asked what I was looking for, and she said she wasnt sure if they had it in because they had run out of the ribbon by the middle of June and hadnt had any in since. As she was telling me this, I saw a drawer slightly open underneath the spot where the ribbon should have been, and it was full of exactly what I wanted... and at the same time she told me that a shipment came today and that she was going to go ahead and check for me. We both smiled as I pointed it out and said at the same time "Well that wont be here for long!"... she was a very friendly employee.

The employees let me in at 5mins before closing to get the items I dearly needed and also the gentleman walked me directly to the product and was extremely nice and very knowledgeable, also when checking out the cashier applied the coupon for my item but I was having a bit of bad reception on my phone to download it, but overall the new store design and new products are amazing, I just wished I had more time to look around. Definitely will return and allow plenty of time to browse. Thank you, Michaels at Dr.Phillips.

Awesome experience with the manager Daniel at the Turkey Lake Store. Also amazing district manager DENNIS BAILEY who went beyond being courteous and took care of the problem of the other store on East side of the town. We need people like that in America who are courteous and also take care of the problems promptly. Thank you Dennis and Daniel. I am taking this time to show my gratitude for taking care of the situation diligently. Some employees can be so rude as Stephanie and Barbara at the Eastside of Michaels.

Rules of lining to cash register is ridiculous...one line is open with another as a back up...whats the point of having 2 open lines if customers cant go to either register to pay...customers have to wait until being called...crazy though! Why not just open another register to help customers without waiting in just one line and wait to be called...sim0le as that.

This place is HUGE - maybe a bit too big, or something like that. I found it very difficult to find what I was looking for. There are not really staff available in the store to help you find things, only if you stand in the line at the checkout... not such a bright idea. The prices are good - even when compared to on-line prices.

Like chain stores tend to be, many of the supplies in this store are overpriced. However, the staff is friendly and helpful. If you want to hold a tool in your hand to get the feel, or buy a small amount of material to try, this is a decent place to do so.

This was the nicest Michaels Ive ever visited. The store was huge, clean, well-organized, and had a wonderful selection of merchandise. The staff was friendly and courteous. The sale at the time was great. It was a terrific trip.

This location is always fully stacked with basically anything and nothing I am looking for. The staff is always super helpful, especially during the holidays when stuff is moved around they know where everything is.
