As an avid knitter, I find the local Michaels yarn department sadly lacking. They do carry a product I like a lot but they never have enough of the same dye lot to make make a sweater larger than for an infant. Its also very frustrating to find that even online, a lot of the colors are out of stock constantly and when I ordered 12 balls recently, they sent 3 different dye lots. I spoke to a lady who works in that department at the store and she said they get whatever they are sent and have no control over what is ordered. I also spoke to the assistant store manager who told me that same thing but I know that there are Michaels stores that have decent yarn departments. Just very disappointed in this one. Also, there is one cashier who is downright snarly.

The floor staff are so friendly and knowledgeable! I was looking for paint markers and they had every color in Stock where other stores were OOS on certain colors. I had a very pleasant experience!

We love this Michaels! Our oldest had her 9th birthday party here, and it was a total hit! Its clean and bright, the employees are very helpful, there are tons of inspirations.
