Let me start by saying Miguel Alvarez should not be managing anything , he couldnt be managing a hot dog stand ! He is a liar and he takes advantage of people , I financed furniture with them , my wife picked the furniture and I went to sign , they gave me one price and they gave her another price and when I went to sign the price was changed again, they also told me I can finance with $60 down after the approval because I bought furniture 3 times from them and paid it off before 90 days , but then Miguel said there is nothing he he can do and charged me 3 times more , they added a protection without my permission and did not explain what it is for ! and Miguel said he cannot remove it , its out of his hands , my first payment is before I even get my furniture , my "90 days interest free " is not even 90 days in the contract , but he said the system is old and he cant do anything about it . they quoted my wife $1600 and when I got there it was $18,888 which included my down payment ! so where did my down payment go ? what is the warranty for ? why the mattress was listed at $699 and in the contract it was $799, why is my payment before I get my furniture ? why is my down payment higher than what they quoted me ? why the total balance is much higher than what was quoted ? and if Miguel Alvarez does not have any answers or everything is out of his hands and he treats employees like crap , why is he a manager ? he should be in jail ! I financed furniture from this store three times and I did it once more not to see my wife unhappy because she was really excited , but I will never ever buy anything from that store and I will make sure everybody knows what Miguel Alvarez has done, I will copy and paste this review on all websites to make sure I will let as many people as possible know about Miguel Alvarez and Ashleys furniture at 880 W state rd 436, Altamonte Springs , FL 32714. do not go there , there are many other stores around that can help you and put a smile on your familys face .

My buying experience was A+. Kevin Schmieder took great care of me. I made an appointment, visited the store and eventually ordered furniture that I found online. The team that schedules the delivery appointments were most helpful in accommodating me with a date and block of time that was convenient for me. The delivery was a disaster. I was scheduled for delivery between 8 and noon - I live in the southern area of The Villages and knew I would be the first or second delivery. I received a call well after 10:00 am telling me that there were problems; the truck was now being loaded; and there was no possibility of a delivery before noon. That call needed to be made as soon as a delay was discovered. Then, (additional delay) the well spoken and very polite driver called to tell me their GPS would not give direction to my address. This house was completed three years ago - directions are available FREE on MapQuest and Google GPS apps on Smart Phones. Whatever GPS system Ashley bought is an old version - even if updated - like the GPS systems that are installed in new cars. Currently, their expensive updates download a map that is a 2012 or 2013 map. In my car this update would cost over $200 and my home address wont be on it for another year or two. The drivers of your fleet of delivery trucks would be better served with Smart Phones and map apps! The delivery crew was well mannered, courteous and efficient. They (as well as your customers) had a miserable morning with whatever problem delayed their deliveries four and five hours. Customers should be informed immediately if there is delay of this magnitude!

Do not buy from Ashley Furniture**** The worst I have EVER had to deal with...We have spent over $7, 000 on furniture with Ashley furniture Homestore and over $500 in Guardsman warranties and they always loose my paperwork, cant locate my service requests, I ask numerous times if I can email/fax it since someone is always loosing my paperwork I send to them, and they refuse. I have purchased my furniture from 2 different locations Altamonte Springs and Orlando (waterford) Florida, both manager of the store never contacts me back, I have a sectional that the leather is peeling off, a new beds et that the wood was not painted on it correctly (shows what this company really uses) and nothing has ever been done. No repairs, no attempt to contact me, no attempt to review the pictures, nothing. I will continue to write to them every day until they resolve my problem. I will not ever step foot in one of there locations again. Why is there not a Class Action Lawsuit against them yet? I bet if more people come together on this matter we can win our money back. I have complained so many times and no one every gets back to me, my childrens bed was just crumbling apart, their dresser as well, I am so disgusted with this all, we should all get our money back as I am going through the internet and a lot of people are having the same issues. I had the furniture in the house for less than 20 minutes when the coffee table came apart! The end table was also loose. I dont know if the delivery broke it bringing it in or it just broke! I called the the 800 customer service number twice because they didnt delivery all the furniture. We were expecting everything but was NEVER told the couch was on back order. Found that out when the delivery people was leaving! Called immediately and was told that it should have been put on truck. Now I have NOTHING for my company to seat on because I got rid of the old stuff. Ashley didnt even call me back to explain what happened. Two days later I called and was told the couch would arrived two days after that and they would fix the coffee table. But no, I was told then that the coffee table could not be fixed! Call the 800 number again and was on hold for 40 minutes. Finally I decided to call the store and the customer service at the store was horrible. Them: "What wrong with it?" Me: Its broke". Them: Where is it broke? Me: I dont know where. Its loose and it shakes when you touch it" Them: What do you mean it shakes? I need to know more." Me: Just send somebody out to fix it or replace it. Them: It will be Wednesday (which is another 3 days). Ashley Home Store needs a lot of help. Im just saying. Hopefully Wednesday they will leave this customer satisfied but as of right now...NOPE

I bought a kitchen table and bench, they showed up 1 hour after the scheduled delivery window without hardware. I called the store and the manager (Matthew) said he would called me the next day with a reaolution. For the following 8 days the table sat upside down in my kitchen in pieces and noone from the store called me or answer my requests to speak with another manager. Finally I got Matthew on the phone who promised he would personally address it, the following day i was given a time window whne the issuenwould be addressed, the drivers called 30min past the time window saying they were at my house (they were not) dispatch had giving them a 3 yearbold address 30min from house. Drivers said I was on my own as they could not come to my home that day, therefore i asked them to leave the hardware hidden at the location they were at for me to pickup, i went and picked it up to figure out this was the WRONG HARDWARE!! Therefor i spent the next day purchasing and sourcing my own hardware. Noone from ashley called to applogize about address mixup and the manager hasnonce again ducked my calls about the weong hardware, the company as a whole has a terrible culture where no one takes ownership for mistakes because there is 50 different departments. I will never buy even just a cushion from these people.
