This place is absolutely horrendous. Customer service sucks and delivery/set up was terrible as well. We bought several beds, a dining set, and a living room sectional. They told us they would deliver in the afternoon but didnt come until late at night. After arriving late, the men putting together all the furniture scratched up our walls and the new sectional. We called the manager several times and we either couldnt reach him, he never called back, or he said that a new delivery was going to be sent out the next day. Thatd be great if this didnt go on for about 2 weeks. The delivery men didnt even have tools to put any of the furniture together. How are you going to say youre going to assemble all our furniture when you dont even have tools? Weve had the furniture for about a year now, and my beds metal support beams have completely snapped. Im only 98 lbs. I sleep and watch movies in my bed, nothing else. Upon closer inspection, most of the screws were missing and the right side wasnt even connected to the bed. That was just plain jolly. The dining table. Oh, that lucky little dining table was saved just in time. We noticed after a bit that that chairs felt kind of off. My grandfather flipped it over and not only were the chairs missing screws but the table too! Hes quite the handy man and was able to fix it all up. Its like the install guys were trying to bring a whole new meaning to a few screws loose. Dont do that! Overall, a one star rating is generous. Despite all the negatives, the sofa, and my bed (before deciding to become half sinkhole) are really comfortable. My cousin offered to do lawn work just to sit on the couch. I see the problems in the employees. Hire some competent people, please.

Me and my husband came and bought 2 6in twin bunkies mattresss before leaving we didnt look at the two mattresss after bringing them back home 30 mins away and taking them out of the plastic we realized one is the 4in. I called and talked to the assistant manager Jay about the issue. Said that it was the warehouse persons fault not the sales person and said he would exchange of we brought it back. Not caring that I said he were all the way on the other side of town or that no matter what it was there fault. He never apologized and I just told him understand that I dont have that vechile to go exchange the mattress and it is yet again another 30 min drive that way and it shouldnt be directed towards anyone on who fault it is. Even if I was talking to the same guy that gave us the mattress at least apologize but dont put fingers,specially when your the assistant manager. I dont have free spaingly time to go back over there to exchange it like nothing ever happen. The least you could do is dont point fingers and at least apologize and have a crappy attitude. Kelsey

I took my brother to the OBT location to replace his 20 year old sofa (background info: he had been hit by a car while riding his bicycle home from the store and he received a small insurance settlement which allowed us to replace it, he has a psychological disability and so he cant always deal with public issues). Bryon greeted us and made my brother feel comfortable enough to speak directly to him and tell him what he was looking for, fabric, length, etc. We sat on every sofa in there!! It took over an hour but well worth it. My brother LOVES his new sofa!!! It got better when two days later I received a call from Ericka! She found my other credit card (my mom gave it to me so I can go to the store for her) and Costco card! I hadnt even realized they had fallen out of my phone case!! She took the time to look me up in their system and call me! She has definitely restored my faith in humanity! Were going back today to get him a new bed!!! Great company, great deals, and wonderful staff!!!

American FREIGHT more like American FRIGHT!! A HUGE SCAM!!! Please save yourself the trouble. Extremely bad quality furniture with even worst customer service. The saying typically goes, you get what you pay for. With these steep furniture prices, its natural to want to save some money therefore you might end up getting trojan horsed with a company such as this one. You think youre getting decent quality furniture for a great price, but in reality youre getting horrific quality furniture that will not last, for an average price. Youre better off going to places like Amazon and Wayfair since you most likely will end up getting disappointed and angry. Forget trying to return or exchange your purchase once you buy it, because they (including their corporate office) are unreasonable and rude. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF and DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM AMERICAN FREIGHT!!

Very cheap! We bought leather sofa and love seat, table and chairs (paid $75 extra per chair). Also paid extra for the warranty. Leather has peeled tremendously on sofa and the frame on both love seat and sofa has broken. The chairs have to be tightened constantly and the leather is also peeling on all 6 chairs. The table is ok. I called to get these things fixed because we had the warranty. Well, after being asked a million questions and being put on hold for atleast 15 minutes I was told nothing was covered other than stains and stuff like that. I was told otherwise when I purchased the warranty but obviously that doesnt matter now. Point is this stuff is very cheaply made and the warranty is a joke and the sales people lie. Spend a little more money for better quality.

Dont trust their ads! What they show online is totally different inventory from what theyre actually selling. They advertise beds for $69 per piece ($207 /set) but the mattresses that theyre actually selling are no more than a half deflated futon. Oh, you want the bed in the picture? Those start at $400. The black bedroom set they advertise was priced more than twice as much as advertised. I repeatedly corrected the sales guy, but to no avail. Advertised Memorial Day discount? Sorry! (Im a disabled US military veteran with appropriate VA ID, etc) Do yourself a favor... dont waste your time with these guys. Its not worth the frustration and disappointment.

Went into American Freight looking for a sofa and ended up getting a bedroom set for my wife and I, a bedroom set for our daughter, the sofa we wanted plus a coffee table, and also a dining room table and chairs. The prices are very reasonable. Marcus was my salesman and he did a great job. He was very knowledgeable and was able to point my wife and I in the right direction without ever being pushy. He was more concerned with making sure were happy with all of our choices. My wife changed her mind a few times and Marcus never got angry or impatient. He made sure we left happy and satisfied with our purchase. We will definitely return here for future furniture purchases.

Okay so today I went into American Freight furniture to check on my layaway account because I thought that it would be inactive and the associate by the name of Jay assisted me with it just to reassure me that my account was not inactive. I have to say I would have been upset if it was because I have really nice things for my home on layaway until I am ready to get them out and not to mention I was taken care of right away so I did not have to wait so again thank you Jay for your great customer service.:)
