Have had so many memories with Albertsons in general. They had a store in Orlando a while back but was turned into a Publix. Growing up in California, we shopped at Safeway frequently and so Im surprised to see Safeway moving over to the East Coast. It was Barbaras review that led me to do a little digging about the merger and Im glad to see Safeway move here but also a little sad to see Albertsons leave. I feel that Publix leads the standards for pricing and customer service, followed by Albertsons, and then Safeway. Ive only shopped at this particular Altamonte Albertsons a handful of times as its a bit far from East Orlando, but whenever Im in the area I love to just go into the store and reminisce. Prices are okay, but they dont have as many BOGOs as Publix. What I like about this store is its hours; it opens til 2am and Im glad they have extended hours. The Safeway stores that I went to in California either closed at 11pm or were 24 hours, hopefully Safeway will keep Albertsons current hours or turn it into a 24 hour store. In regards to the shopping experience here, Id say its your typical grocery store. The associates here are friendly and helpful though and the store has quite a selection due to its size. Its sad to see the only Albertsons in Central Florida (and only 1 of 3 in the state) merge to Safeway...but at least I can use my club card that I signed up for while I was in California, right? You will be missed Albertsons...thanks for the memories.

Im new to the area. I purchased meat there a few days ago. I thawed it out last night in the refrigerator. I woke up to a bad smell in my home.The meat was spoiled. I returned it that evening when I got off. I expressed my concern to this lady at the register as the store manager come to find out brushed me off to her. She stated she couldnt do anything without an receipt. Lets keep in mind this is the only Albertsons in altamonte springs, with your logo and buy one get one stamp. She chuckled at that which was very rude & not appreciated. Tell your night manager to lay off whatever he taking didnt feel comfortable around him at all.

I visited the store a while back and the prices were high. Recently upon revisiting the store, I have found the prices have come down to a reasonable price. This store has beautiful produce displayed. Albertsons has unusual products such as: egg roll and wonton wrappers, Liberte yogurt (very creamy french style yogurt), fresh bean sprouts etc. If I had more time I probably could have found more hard to find food items. The store is clean and the cashiers are extremely fast. I will definately visit this store on a regular basis.

Always enjoy my shopping experience at Albertsons (soon to be a Safeway) The variety and prices are great and so are In store specials. I am from Louisiana and I like their selection of seafood, especially the frozen shrimp. Just found out that it will soon be a new, updated Safeway, also owned by Albertsons. Only suggestion is to keep the good prices, selection and friendly service. Also, if you like the store, frequent it so that it stays in business. It is the last one.

I live 20+ miles away but after reading reviews intrigued. I was very impressed with the customer service! Lynn was in the aisle and seeing me lost offered to help me. She didnt tell me where to find the items but took me to them! Worth the drive by far!

This is my favorite grocery store! The staff always have a smile for you. This was the closest store to where I used to live, I still shop at this Albersons even though it is not the closest store to me. Thanks Albertsons!

Good bye albertsons, this was a good place to shop but is now closed. A safeway has taken the spot and i cannot wait to review how they are. You will be missed albertsons <3

I was very disappointed when you closed the Lake Mary store. Now I drive to Altamonte Springs branch to shop. I LOVE Albertson and their prices and selection.
