Our original visit to Mahogany and More In Wilmington, DE was pleasant and we found what we were looking for. I purchase a Hooker Traditional European Style Desk, Credenza and Hutch. Delivery was within the time stated but the Credenza arrived damaged. I was especially disappointed because I specifically stated to the manager to inspect the equipment thoroughly prior to delivery in order to avoid this problem. My home was completely destroyed by a devastating fire only weeks prior and I didnt need any additional stress. In any case, the inspection was obviously never performed since the issue my furniture was a very obvious manufactures defect. The delivery guys were great but it almost seemed as if they were attempting to cover up the defect. In any case, I immediately pointed out the problem and contacted the Wilmington location. They sent a repair tech to inspect the piece and said it would need to be replaced. Repeated calls and 6 weeks later, here I sit with no attempt from Mahogany and more to let me know whats going on. I have filed a complaint with Hooker Furniture and will be filing a legal complaint against Mahogany and More in the next couple of week if I dont see an immediate remedy. There are so may other furniture stores that carry Hooker so I will be using them to furnish the remainder of our new home when completed

My husband and I purchased a bedroom set from the Oaks, PA location on Sept 5th with an expected delivery date of 1-3 weeks. We paid and then waited, and waited and waited.... For over 3 months the store managers from both the Oaks location and the DE store called us approx every 3-4 weeks to let us know that the truck showed up without our furniture and that it would take another 10 days for the next shipment to arrive. This happened about 4 times and they could never explain why the furniture was not on the truck when it arrived. Finally, just this past week (December!) they refunded our money and we never got the furniture. I DO NOT recommend ordering anything from this company if you actually expect it to show up.

We just moved to a new house and were looking for new furnitures. We went to Mahogany and More store to purchase our kitchen set. The staff were very nice and friendly and wanted to make sure that we were taking care of. We went to another place before Mahogany & more for furniture, but we had to wait for a long time. We ended up purchasing dining set and chairs. The quality of their furniture is excellent and same as the expensive stores with less price. I will go back there to purchase anything else for my house.

Love this place! I previously shopped at places like Ethan Allen and Thomasville for high end furniture, but couldnt stand waiting 12 weeks for delivery. So I checked this place out (the Oaks, PA location), and ended up purchasing a kitchen table and chairs as well as a television stand of the same quality as the aforementioned. It was delivered the same week and the movers were careful not to damage my walls. Prices are reasonable. Check it out before buying anywhere else!

We researched at tons and tons of places for sofa. However, we couldnt find it. Mahogany were just opening up at the concord pike and they had a wonderful sale. So we decided to look it up, the sofa we bought were well priced. The sofas are great. loving it. and the person in charge is wonderful. One of the legs that came with the sofa was shaking so i called them and they sent a person with in the next hour to fix it. I would definitely recommend anyone to go there.
