My fiance and I went into Raymour and Flanigan looking to narrow down what type of mattress we were going to buy. As usual we walked in the door and quickly tried to shuffle by any sales associate that wanted to give us their sales pitch. A woman named Katie greeted us and appeared to be offended when we paid little to no attention to her at the door. She directed us to the mattress section and came over to us once or twice to give us little tips about the store. Shortly after I could see Katie and other sales associates gathering in a little circle, obviously talking about us as we jumped from bed to bed (making mattress shopping even more awkward than it already is!). Katie and her gossip team of sales reps left us alone for our time in the store and the manager Ben Duval eventually came over to assist us after a while of trying out different beds. Ben was very polite, helpful, and careful not to be too intrusive. He offered lots of good points and direction when making a decision about a mattress. Couldnt have been happier with Bens professionalism! As for his team of sales associates- they couldnt have been more catty and rude. I felt like I was back in 7th grade when I saw them all huddling in a circle talking about my fiance and I. The part that made me feel the most uncomfortable was when my fiance and I were leaving. I walked by a dinning room table and the dishes and glassware caught my eye. I proceeded to make eye contact with one of the men staring at me as if he was a hungry wolf that just spotted a steak. When I said excuse me to him (because he was also staring at me) he looked away as if he didnt notice me. I repeated "excuse me" one more time and without looking at me he said.. "Katie will help you" in a sarcastic tone. When I asked Katie where to find the glassware on the table this rude male associate interrupted Katie and interjected his response. Teaming up on customers to talk about them and disrespect them in such an immature way is no way to welcome business. I will definitely be buying a memory foam mattress elsewhere, your associates lost that sale!

We have purchased a couch a year ago and as a part of a purchase we were talked into buying a cleaning plan where as we were told the couch would be cleaned (entirely) whenever it needed to be done (once). A year down the road the couch does have a few stains (we have a two year old) and we wanted to have it cleaned. Of course, now the story changes- the service is to clean one spot and it has to be done within seven days. If the sales lady would have told the truth about the details of coverage I would have never agreed to pay extra for something so ridiculous. Customer service manager refused to rectify the situation when my wife called the store yesterday. If you are the manager, it means that you are in charge of making decisions and not hiding behind a statement that you need to discuss the issue with your superiors. I am sure we are not the first ones who were duped into this scam. Overall, couch is great, but I will never buy from this company again and will never agree to any extra protection.service plans. Poor customer service.

My husband and I were shopping for bedroom furniture for my son. We ended up at Raymour and Flanigan. The salesperson was very helpful. Insisted that he was giving us the best price for the bedroom set we chose. I soon realized 2 days later, at another furniture store (Ashley Furniture) that the same exact bedroom set was on sale $600 cheaper than R & F. When I called R & F to get a price match, they argued that it was not the same brand name and that they would not price match. We all know the name game. Ive been down that road with mattressess etc.... One expensive lesson learned. I will never shop for furniture again at R & F.

Terrible customer service..... Ive spent a few thousand dollars within the past 5 years with this company and once theres any problem with merchandise Raymour does very little or nothing to solve the problem. The technician they sent over even agreed that my problems with the mattresses were severe enough for the company to fix the problem, however once I spoke with the customer service rep she made it clear that the problem wasnt severe ENOUGH for Raymour to get involed. Ethan Allen knows how to treat customers better.

Last night my wife and I visited this store, and were pleasantly surprised. We went in expecting to find overpriced department store furniture, but we came out with a new sofa and two recliners. The prices of the living room sets varied enough to keep anyone satisfied, ranging from affordable to pricey. Barbara the sales clerk gave us decent advice without being pushy; we were very happy with our experience overall.
