I went to vision consultants of Wilton last month (March) 2010. The doctor was extremely nice but the man whom was to help me pick out the glasses was not. Before I left the office I was not given my prescription, and when I called and spoke to the same man he was very rude on the phone. Stating it is my fault I did not ask for the prescription, which I is not, he just wanted my business. He proceeded to be rude on the phone, and even purposely stated my street name wrong, when I asked for it to be mailed stating I had bad hand-writing. I would NEVER recommend Wilton Vision Consultants, because of the poor staff.

I recently had an eye exam and purchased a pair of eyeglasses from Vision Consultants of Wilton and was very happy with the whole experience. The exam was done very professionally and I felt confident with the results. Great care and patience was shown me during the selection and fitting of my glasses. I felt the selection of frames was very good and was happy that they did not try to sell me something I did not need/want. My glasses were ready the next day and all at a very competitive price. I could go to many opticians but for my time/money this is the best.

When it came time to pay they completely ignored my insurance benefits. Then, I had to go over it with them piece by piece to ensure that the insurance coverage was applied appropriately. They made multiple mistakes on my bill and did the same thing with my wife on a separate occasion. Watch out... Then I called a day after my contacts were supposed to be in and they had no information for me and needed to get back to me. Not a professional setup.

Ive been going to Dr. Castaldi for ten years and hes awesome. So caring and attentive to my whole family. The staff does their best to try to accommodate you if you have an issue like eye infections to get a speedy appointment. I appreciate their care. Luis fitted me for eyeglasses recognizing that I had a budget. They are great.

Been going here for over 5 years, Luis and the Dr are both very good people and will work with you to find the best solution for your budget. Both men are highly skilled and will always make decisions that are best for you, not their bottom line. I cant recommend them enough.
