BEWARE - THIS IS NOT A FULL-FLEDGED VERIZON STORE! In January I was offered a REFURBISHED iPhone 4S 32 GB as a trade for a faulty iPhone 4S 16 BG. The refurbished phone came with no box, no cords, and no instructions. Two months later the refurbished phone starting cutting out to a black screen and had to be re-powered often. I went back into the store and spoke with Mike about an upgrade to an iPhone 6. He told me I had used my upgrade in January! Bear in mind I had already called Verizon and was told they would do an upgrade to an iPhone 6, but I should try to work it out with the store first. I went back to the store and once again Mike told me my upgrade had been used and I would have to wait until January 2017 for the next upgrade! Back on the phone I went with Verizon and a day later I am happily using my new iPhone 6 64 GB with an upgrade from my iPad. I will never set foot in the Southbury, CT store again and neither will my husband. We will go the extra 15 minutes to Danbury. Furthermore, the Southbury store took my old phone and never told me about the re-cycling program where I would either get a bit of cash or could donate my phone for charity. You will also be getting a complaint from Verizon as one of their employees said they had never spoke with anyone so rude as from your store. Sorry, guys but you are the biggest losers.

Hello everyone, Wireless phones are like our children so when things go wrong sometimes we panic but we are here to help. In regards to both the reviews below are completely inaccurate. Coleen first purchased a Samsung outright!! (meaning no upgrade) she paid for our refurbished models. She wasnt happy with it so we happy swapped it to a refurbished iPhone, same cost. We would have rectified any phone issue but she had but came back 11 months later which is when the review was written. She purchased in December 2014. Anyone is more then welcome to take a tour of our store as we have no minors making phones in the back. All of our phones come in brand new boxes and are supported by a one year manufacturer warranty. We have been here for 7 years. Sometimes with any electronic device, things go wrong and need to be replaced or fixed. Here in Southbury, customer service is our number 1 priority. We welcome anyone to come to our location and experience the first class service we offer to anyone who walks through the door. Whether you have a tech question or looking for a new phone we are here to help and look forward to serving you.

Joshua at this location is AMAZING!!! ANYTIME YOU GO THERE ASK FOR HIM BY NAME! He has helped me and my family multiple times. I was having major issues with my Samsung, instead of pushing into buying a new phone or shooing me away like most locations do when you have a problem, he spent hours with me trying to rectify the problem. The phone was a lemon. He was very honest with my options, letting me know I was eligible for an upgrade or I could do a free warranty replacement because the problem was covered by my insurance. I took the free replacement, I didnt want to renew anything as I had plans to leave Verizon with my 6 lines for another provider. After these experiences with Joshua, I went in and upgraded to a new phone and got one for my wife and son also. He unknowingly saved us from leaving. I was shocked to learn that he wasnt the running the store, as he probably should be. His level of professionalism, knowledge, integrity and customer service is unmatchable and a rarity these days! Thanks for all your help, Joshua!!!

First, their selection was horrible: they had one or two phones in stock, everything else had to be special ordered. Second, they messed up my rebate papers. They prepared a rebate envelope (which was nice of them), but didnt include a sales receipt (and didnt give me one). I called to ask for a copy, they said theyd email it to me later. Whole day goes by and nothing. I call later in the afternoon, guy on the phone says I dont need a sales receipt. Said he had done "hundreds of these" (his words) and the customer agreement was enough. Well, I just got a message saying that my rebate was invalid because, guess what, the sales receipt is missing. I might upgrade my review depending on how they handle this from now on, but Im not holding my breath. UPDATE: called them and, even though I had to call back later to talk to the manager, they were really helpful and sent me a copy of my receipt right away. Apparently Verizon is the one that screwed up (not surprising).

Warning! Do not use the Southbury Verizon store! I will never go back to this location. I was treated poorly by the staff. The person I dealt with could not take the time to lift his head, look at me and speak clearly for me to understand. He told me to go home and suggested a few things, (even though he was not sure what the problems was). He appeared condescending. He was not willing to work on my phone together in the store. His suggestions did not work and now my phone is worse than it was when I walked in. This is not the first time I have dealt with such poor service at this store. There is no reason to tolerate this type of service. There are plenty of other choices out there.

I just like to let you know that I just left your store in Southbury Connecticut that is Verizon. I have been purchasing phones here for a long time I come here often just to get some technical advice. I had a problem with my phone . Verizon replaced it in the people in Southbury helped me download and check it out. From the manager Dimitri to the gentlemen who I was working with Carlos and all the others that work in that store you should be very proud to have employees like them. I had a business for 40 years and I know that good employees are hard to come by. Thank you Frank Trombetto

These guys that work in this store are the most condescending, snarky group of bearded wannabe small town hipsters that I have come across in a long time. Every question is answered with a rapid fire reply that clings to a tone of incredulity. The central message here is, "you are wasting my time and I know you will buy the iphone anyway". I strongly recommend going to another VZW store. They are the only game in town, so, I am stuck. Every time I have to go there, I dread it, my wife has the same issue every time. Just something about their attitude that really just turns us off.

These guys are the greatest. Nick spend 2.5 hours transferring data and getting my phone set up. He is an extaordinary person and a valuable employee. Please promote him. As for your manager Dmitriy, he is doing every thing right. I had met him over a year ago when my phone was dying, he let me charge my phone and treated me like a million dollar customer. I had promised to give him my business on my initial interaction and travelled from Valley Cottage N.Y. because of his great custmer service.
