I will never come back to this location ever again. The commitment to complete and online order that is available in store is 2 hours. I ordered my supplies @ 1:30. By 4:00 I hadnt heard anything so I called to check in, spoke with a girl who said that they were understaffed and no one had gotten to it yet but that she would work on it personally. Her name was Ashley. I asked at that point to just have my order ready by 5:30 when I would plan on stopping by after work. She agreed. I get here at 5:45 and none of my items have been collected, Ashley had left for the day and the kid who greeted me, while nice, printed the list and recommended I grab the gems myself. Completely missing the point of in store pickup. After fumbling around for more time and not finding items I returned to the front desk only to find half my order was sold out because it hadnt been collected in time before the products sold. I spent almost $500 on supplies, lost valuable time and spun my wheels with a staff of individuals who has no clue whats happening. Unbelievable. Id give zero stars if it where possible.

HORRIBLE!!! That is the best way to describe this place. On 8/29/14. I placed an order online to be picked up later at the store. The website says the order is usually ready within 2 hours. It was around 11AM when I placed the order. Since I didnt get an Email, I called the store around 2:30PM. After 45, (Thats right, 45 minutes) on hold, this lady came to the phone and after I explained to her what was going on, she said: "why dont you come to the store and pick up the items yourself?". Needless to say I was very frustrated at this point. After speaking with 3 different people, someone said they would call me back.......Yeah, right. I called back around 4 Oclock, and again, they kept transferring the call over and over. By the way, it was not a complicated order at all. 6 light bulbs and a shower head. It is 4:35PM right now and Im giving up. Good job Home Depot!

I walked up to a man that I thought would be knowledgeable. He had a nicer uniform and I assumed he would be able to help me find a simple product. It turned out that he was the store merchandiser and he knew where absolutely nothing was. This is strange because a merchandiser, at least in my store, knows where all the product is and arranges it properly. He also responded to my question in a rude tone. Fortunately, there was another really nice dude around to save the day. He may not even have worked for the store, but he knew where the pocket-hole jigs were. All in all, you can usually expect a pretty average experience for such a busy store. There is usually a feeding frenzy of builders and contractors there early in the day. Just to warn you...

I never wrote a review before but this needs to be put out there. Home depot in Norwalk has the worst customer service, this place should be shut down. Get this, the employees yell at their own customers! The returns and service desk is where it all happens. Very unprofessional, whenever you need help the employees actually try to hide from you. And when you find someone they have no clue what youre asking about! if you have a question about an air conditioner, THEYLL JUST READ WHAT IT SAYS ON THE BOX! If you have a complaint and want to speak to a manager, EVERYONE is a manager. I guess they arent worried about losing their jobs, they could care less. Seriously just take an extra 20 minutes and drive to Lowes.......

Nice store, but I wish the Home Depot made it easier to find employees to ask for help. Lowes seems to really focus on customer engagement. The employees are nice and all, it just stinks to always be looking for one when you have a question rather than them be right behind you chilling or doing something that can be stopped for the customer. We got what we needed (blinds), and realized that they have several locations around the area, making it easier to preorder things as needed anywhere and pick them up at any store we choose, depending on where we were. Maybe Ill use this feature, but it was nice learning about it as we travel around the New York and Connecticut area a lot.

I have never been so disgusted in my life by customer service. We were supposed to have a new refrigerator delivered today, and we leave for vacation tomorrow. We were notified at 8:30 this morning that the refrigerator would be here at 9:00. After an hour of nothing and several phone calls, we finally came to find out that the refrigerator was damaged and we would not be able to get it today. My entire morning was wasted and now we have no functional refrigerator and will not be able to get one until we return from vacation. The representative from GE was extremely disrespectful and rude on the phone. I am appalled at the disregard for my familys time and money.

I visited the Norwalk Home Depot on a Sunday (Mothers Day) at 11:30am in the morning to buy ten air conditioners. It was pretty crowded, but a sales person in Electronics found the manager for me and within a few minutes I was placing my order and within 30 minutes, a couple of store employees were helping me load my car. I had to come back a couple of hours later to pick up the rest of my order and again, I was helped pretty quickly. Everyone I dealt with had a good attitude, was helpful and respectful...a great experience. Thanks!

I give the store 4.5 Excellent selection. Mike was friendly and very knowledgeable. I like the variety. Prices were the best in town. The reason I dropped it to 3 is the lack of communication between the 3rd party delivery team Home Depot uses and Home Depot. I was directed to the delivery team for an issue who said the store should take care of it and the store directed me back to the delivery team. The lack of coordination and communication makes me less likely to choose Home Depot for any appliance deliveries in the future.

I have spent thousands of dollars on home improvement from them. (over 20,000). I returned some items and they did not refund it to my account. 3 months and still no luck. I have a receipt for the transaction, been to the store 3 times about this and all I get is bad attitude. Called countless of time and still no resolution. I am boycotting them starting now. I might have spent over 20,000 but there is always things to do for the home and home Depot is not getting my money.

Some times it is hard to get help, same like with what Ive experienced at Lowes. But like Lowes the guys that have helped me know their stuff. If you buy something thats in a box, check the box before you leave. Stuff gets moved around a lot and you dont want to find out something is broken, chipped or something missing when you get home. That tends to happen here. But for the most part positive experiences with purchases from here.

I go in for a package of screws washers and wing nuts (Plus some wood ) They helped me out a lot except for when they abandoned me after I asked a question...Then I get the hanger bolts I ask If there all going to fit... only 1 out of 3 packages fit in them...I mean I can go get some of the ones that ACTUALLY FIT instead of some double screw thing he said would also fit in... but I got majority of what I wanted
