Until recently, I had forgotten about trips to the hardware store with my father when I was young. Usually, he would have some strange looking part from an old device that required replacement. "Ya got one of these?", he would ask the gentleman behind the counter. More often than not, a nod and a brisk walk down an aisle would produce the new part. Trio brings that experience back from the brink of extinction, or perhaps theyve maintained that attitude of customer service that the competitors have forgotten. "Sorry, I dont work in this department." or, "I dont know what that is.", has become so commonplace that I almost didnt even bother to ask for assistance. I for one applaud this "Mom and Pop" business, for maintaining a staple of the American past, and for carrying it into the future.

Trio Hardware lives up to its slogan, "If We Dont Have It, You Dont Need It." What I did need was a lightswitch extender for a vintage fixture. The Big Box Stores didnt have it, the specialty lighting stores didnt have it. Trio had it. All I had to do was describe the part and in five minutes it was in my hand. The store is immaculate and well-organized, and its a pleasure to browse the aisles. Trio also carries a wide array fun gadgets and housewares. Where else can you get measuring spoons for a smigen, a pinch, and a dash, and a Betty Boop key? The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. A visit to Trio is always a pleasure.

Great Service. Nice People. I have been going there since I was a young boy. I remember over 40 years ago they helped me pick out parts for a home made go-cart that I crashed in hills in the Plainview Park Pool. They were nice back then and they are nice and helpful now. Just there today!

It says old-school hardware store, but not really. They didnt have the part Im looking for. Can someone please help me find what Im looking for? Im looking for an Alladin kerosene heater wick, 37A; 3" inch wick. :(

The Best1 I never go to HOme Depot anymore unless I HAVE too. They have everything and a competent staff to help. Prices are usual and I dont have to walk thru a huge box store anymore.

Great coustomer service. i find all of the sprinkeler parts there. they unfortunatly didnt have the part to fix my bike. the price is right for the service and the location.
