What a hardware store ought to be. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, much better selection than youd guess from the size of the storefront. And their prices are very competitive- My time is worth more to me than the few cents I would save wasting time searching Home Depot with no help from the staff there who know less than I do.

Armed with a minimum of knowledge and very little skills, I have gone to Newtown Hardware for years and have been educated and treat respectfully at all times. The staff at Newtown Hardware are consistently helpful and kind. A local establishment that has paid its dues in Newtown with good prices and GREAT service for many years.

Newtown hardware was here before the big box hardware stores and theyve survive beautifully as a small town alternative for everything you need. I can go there and get everything from mason jars to house paint. Dale, special order anything if they dont have it in stock. Dan Jim and Don are great

Can not beat Newtown Hardware for the service and knowledge provided by the staff. The prices are more than competitive and the ease of running in and out can not be beat. My husband and I have used them for the last 18 years and wouldnt think of going anywhere else. Karen and Chris

This small store and friendly staff have everything I need right around the corner. If I cant find it I ask one of the many available staff. Newtown hardware reminds me of the great experiences I had going to the hardware store when I was a kid!

Ive lived in Newtown for 40 years and they have always been well stocked and well versed. If you live in Newtown I believe its in our best interest to support this merchant. You might find cheaper but you wont find better.

What I like about them is that they - especially Joe - knows what he is talking about. They are more money than Home Depot, BUT they know what theyre talking about! AND they are close!

A lot of items for a small store. Not the prices of a box store, but reasonable and convenient. Staff helpful. Parking lot can be a little dicey - proceed with caution.
