John and his crew are the best in town. We were having car problems while on vacation from Virginia. We had tried a couple of other garages in New Haven, but they wanted to charge thousands of dollars. We finally found our way to Car E.R. and were treated like family by the staff. He fixed the car for just over $100 and got us on our way for the rest of our vacation. Several thousand miles later, the car is running fine. It can be hard to find an honest mechanic, especially in urban areas, but I am 100% confident that John will treat you kindly and fairly. You will enjoy your experience there.
