I am a contractor, I spend a lot of money at lumber yards. I also spend a lot of my clients money at the Middletown home depot location specifically. So...I needed a New jobsite tablesaw in a pinch. I usually dont source tools from big box stores, but I needed it tht day, my old one broke on the job. They happened to have the same saw in there clearance section marked down 40 dollars, so I bought it. I go to put it together and the on off switch is broken, its missing the wrenches to change the blade, the blade doesnt fit the saw, the square guide was literally cut with a hacksaw, and it was missing the stand and attachment hardware. So the saw was totally useless. I had to drive all the way back. All I wanted was a complete saw for having to drive back and deal with their mistake. They sold me a totally garbage saw and wasted my entire afternoon. My time is money, a lot of money. After a painstakingly long argument with the sales associate and supoisive General manager, they refused to right there wrong and would give me a functional table saw at the price I already payed for totally wasting my time. They gave me the option to refund what I payed, but the amount of time I was dealing with this crap at my pay rate is literally 3 time the amount of the new saw, so,Im getting screwed. I took my money because my company will no longer be sourcing tools, or spending homeowners money on materials at home depot stores, especially not the Middletown branch. The sales associate and the gm were rude, inconsiderate, were not capable of professional interaction. I was not being taken seriously, and that is unacceptable, period. As a business owner, I would never employ people that are incapable of correcting mistakes made by the business, especially when it pertains to maintaining a customer base and writing a wrong. I am appalled with the lack of professionalism, my company with now do zero business with this store.

I want everyone to read this - I HATE this location; it is absolutely the worst in the entire chain of Home Depot stores. I ordered a deep freezer online and selected the in store pick up option. I requested my pick up time for 8 pm. First, I didnt get a confirmation to pick up my item until 8:52 pm. By the time I opened the confirmation up the location was closed; so I called the next morning to let them know that I will be in to get my item. Guess what? They said I already did, I had to go through several managers and the home office to get this issue corrected (I stayed on the phone for the longest time while they went back and forth). And it was all the stores fault; they claimed I picked up the item but didnt have any information to verify it - no signed slip of receipt, no copy of my license, no copy of the sales slip! This place is HORRIBLE; they should just shut the location down completely! WORST LOCATION EVER!!!!!!!!!!!

Its in the same plaza as PriceChoppers, TD Bank, Bank of America, Car Spa Car Wash and Details!!!! The Home Depot is gigantic and has all of your needs at good prices, great customer service, plenty of handicapped parking etc. And when youre done shopping, right across the street you have Middletown plaza which includes a Big Lots, Urgent Care walk-in clinic, Town Fair Tire, Advanced Autos, Staples etc. Then if you are hungry or need fuel for your vehicle you have Gas stations on your left coming out of Home Depot as well as Subway,Wendys, Beverage Mart etc. And about a click down the road from Home Depot you have so many other stores, gas stations, Salvation Army, Valvoline Instant Oil change, Palmers Field, Dublin Donuts, Five Guys and so much more!!!! So This Home Depot is conveniently located in between EVERYTHING you would need and its by far the best one in the Middletown area!!!!

The price is fine, but service is not. I ordered some floors which should be arrived at my second floor condo, when it arrived at 10 am they told me they cant move it to 2nd floor. I called Home Depot and explained for 30mins on the street in cold weather and they told me they will call me around 2:15pm and this time to my 2nd floor. They didnt call me until I call them at 3:30pm. Now its 4:30 pm and they finally arrived. I give a 3 star because the young guys are working hard, its heavy stuff and they have to move all of them(which is what I pay for). i appreciate that but my whole Saturday is wasted on waiting for them.

Horrible service. No one knows whats going on. Tried to purchase a lawn tractor had to wait close to 20 minutes for someone to stop by. Twice we went over to ask the service desk for someone to stop by. The guy finally stopped over and verified he had some in stock but just directed us back to the service desk. After a few minutes the lady at desk finally understood I wanted to purchase a tractor and we asked about the delivery (free online) apparently it is $75-80 or we were told we could rent a truck and deliver it ourselves.

One of the better Home Depots. Its best part is its service. The cashiers are friendly, the floor staff will drop what its doing and spend time helping you. Management works on the floor with its employees, and also helps with whatever customers need. They do good at keeping sales items and better sales stocked. And the store is clean. Wait times are average. Prices are just slightly above average. Recommended more over other Home Depots in the area.

I bought a paint sample from this store and used it to paint some of a wall to see if I liked the color. The next day, I went back to the same store and bought 2 quarts of the color to do the whole wall. I cut in and painted some of the wall with the sample and when I opened my 2 quarts it was a TOTALLY different color. I am not impressed at all and will be writing the store manager to let him know of the mistake that was made.

Wow the rental department staff was beyond friendly. I called and spoke to a helpful staff member on a Tuesday. On Wednesday I rented 2 pieces of equipment with 2 different staff members and was blown away by how friendly all 3 people were. Their rental selection is also great but its the staff that really surprised me.

Very helpful staff! They usually know what they are talking about. Once i borrowed a floor sander and the guy at the rental place was very helpful and nice. He gave me directions how to sand my floor the right way. It looks amazing now! Thank you so much home depot middletown + staff!!!

AWESOME TEAM and great store. We re did a Pool House on our property for my parents to come down and live with us. Everyone that I dealt with was wonderful, knowledgeable and friendly. I love going in and everyone says hello!!!! We will be happy to support our local Home Depot

I shop here a lot, its a big box store so I dont expect GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, but they have more products thats small hard ware store and thats why we all go here. If you know what your looking for great, if not.... good luck!
