When there is tried to purchase a NestProtection which was locked up behind customer service. When I asked for one at the service desk they told me I needed to go to a register and purchase it. They did not offer to check me out at the service desk or even just purchase the Nest. When I went to check out they said I would have to go back to the service desk to get the product. At that point I decided to go elsewhere to buy it. I called the store manager, Sean who apologized for the incident andtold me to come see him next time I was there. Sean never took my name so he did not take my comments very seriously. Im glad there are Lowes and other Home Depots because I wont be returning to the West Hartford Connecticut Home Depot and I live in the same town.

Dear Home Depot, I almost have a loss of words because I came in your West Hartford stores to purchase wood to replace some stairs outside. I meant one of your best, Damion, I was so impressed with his knowledge of the product but, not only that but the hospitality and the best customer service I have ever experienced since I’ve been going to Home Depot. I been going to the store for over 15 years and have never been greeted in such a way as that. I thought I was at Chick-Fila so, I went over there and bought him back breakfast. Damian should be a Manager and Trainer to teach his constituent how to WOW a customer. Although I live in Windsor, I will travel to West Hartford because of his phenomenal customer service Totally Impressed Customer

I would not recommend going through home depot for flooring or tile. It has been so frustrating, calling and trying to get answers and a schedule, very poor communication, hours wasted on hold and sitting in the store and still no tile. It feels like I am begging people to follow up and do their job. Nice employees who repeatedly apologize - but my kitchen is still torn up with no tile and no date scheduled and they are paid in full.

Good service, good prices, they have pretty much everything you need. Sometimes its hard to find a person in a particular department, but thats true of any store like this. For the average person who does some of their own home projects, this is all youll ever need.

Want you waste your time and money? Try to get a key cut there. Just gave up after their third try at a car key. Their machines are always down or their out of keys. I normally need to make 1 or 2 keys a month for work. This is a joke.

Typical Home Depot with the normal variety and prices of goods. Decent Christmas Tree variety during the holidays. Staff can be hit-or-miss in terms of their helpfulness. They are usually helpful, but not always knowledgeable.

There should be staff available where you need then at every department i was waiting for 25 minutes and no one showed up so i had to leave .i feel that if theres staff availble where needed there would be more business

They should have my order ready for pick up but it was not,then they didnt have all my order and it was a long wait to find it in another store which I had to go and pick up, come on,step up your game home depot.
