I recently lost my SIM card, and needed to get a replacement. I strolled on down Greenwich Ave to this authorized re-seller location (not an official store) to get a new one. They said that this was possible to do, but asked for $40 for the new SIM card. After politely saying "thank you for not screwing me big time", they changed their offer to $25. My radar for a sour deal was cranked up to 11 at this point, so I decided to do some detective work. I called Verizon directly and spoke with a customer service representative. He told me he would happily send me a new SIM card for free, or else I could drive to Port Chester or Stamford and get a card for free (every official store in the US offers this service at zero cost). He also told me that $40 is a "rip off" and that if an unofficial store charges anything at all, it is more commonly $5 or $10 at most. He had never heard of a store "gouging their customers so badly" (his words). Yes, this is probably not a cheap location to have a store, but to sell goods at between 4 and infinite their fair market price is excessive.

Beyond belief. I paid to upgrade from pre-paid to post-paid. The new phone would not activate, so they sent me along and told me I should do it in the morning. Didnt work then. Short story (Ill spare you the tens of hours on the phone with "customer service"). I went back to the store and asked for a refund. A refund was refused because they said they could not access my account. (As it end up, they had deactivated my account.) They asked for the phone and said they would either get it activated or return my money. Months later, neither has happened. Recap - they took my money and I got nothing in return. Actually, its worse than that. The deactivated my pre-paid phone. So, they stole my money and they took my new phone and they cancelled the pre-paid phone. And they lied about fixing it.

The sales people at the Verizon Store on Greenwich avenue are the BEST. In particular, Dorias has helped me twice and has been so friendly and knowledgeable. I came in today with my mom and Dorias and Rey Rivera helped completely walk her through backing up her old phone, transferring data to her new phone, and setting up all of her apps. Even though it took awhile, they were so patient, knowledgeable, and kind. They really look to make sure that you understand your phone, and try to get you the best deals for your lifestyle. We will be coming back. Thank you guys!!!

Boris was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I brought him a fairly complicated problem – the transfer of a phone number from one account with another carrier to an existing Verizon account, the purchase of a new phone, and the transfer of all the materials to the new phone, and he handled it all quickly, efficiently, and gracefully. Even though there wasnt much money in it for a Verizon - just the price of an inexpensive small new phone – he gave it his full, active attention. I was truly impressed. It was a very enjoyable experience.

I really like the people who work here. There was a screw-up on my service and bill. It was taken care quickly and efficiently by the store manager, Chris W. and by chance the Regional Mgr., Patrick, was in the store. He is an absolute delight. They handled everything in a very short time. There is also a young man, Justin, a sales associate, who is proficient and courteous. I recommend this store.

I couldnt have asked for a better experience!! The solutions specialists at my local Verizon store took care of me, plain and simple. They even went out of their way to explain my new phones features, I left a much more educated consumer than when I came in, and a happier one as well. Boris was great, ask for him.
