Weve been loyal Whole Foods customers for years, but the last several months shopping at this location has been downright unpleasant. The baggers and cashiers are so busy chatting they dont even acknowledge your existence or tell you your total. The produce stockers stand in your way talking instead of restocking. The carrots have all been soaked and moldy for weeks. Last week, a bagger put water bottles on top of the bag containing eggs and they broke. This week, I watched a bagger stand bored with no customers while my cashier had no bagger and had to bag everything and ring herself. Checking out used to be quick but now takes at least 10 minutes with no line. Its just ridiculous that there is better customer service and produce at Stop and Shop these days. Clearly the manager needs to spend a little more time on the floor reminding employees that they have a job to do.

I began shopping at Whole Foods in Glastonbury when it opened a few years ago because I was tired of buying produce at the other markets, only to discover rotten clementines, apples, onions, etc in the middle/bottom of the bags when I unpacked them at home. I was willing and able to pay more money for better produce. Sadly, on several recent occasions, I have discovered the same problem at Whole Foods. Each time, I call the store to complain and they offer to refund my money. Never once did they offer to look into the problem to make sure it doesnt happen again. I dont want my money back, I want decent, whole food.

Glastonbury is very lucky to have Whole Foods! I am an extremely busy realtor in town, and most evenings I dont have time to cook. Whole Foods has an amazing selection of prepared foods ready to go: Brick Oven Pizza, Paninis, sandwiches, soup and stews, and the most incredible hot and cold food bar you can imagine. The food is always delicious. I also buy gift certificates for my clients as closing gifts. They are always well received. I highly recommend Whole Foods for either everyday grocery shopping or for their ready-to-go selections.

Sushi Grade Fish (in fish departments deep freezer) is not as good as it used to be. I used to go to Whole Foods Market every other week to get about 6 to 8 packages of their, Sushi At Home, sushi-grade salmon. For the past couple of months, I noticed the salmon was very chewy. I think they are using the tail end of the salmon which sometimes has a lot of veins in it. Who knows? I think Whole Foods needs to get the quality salmon they used to have. No longer going to purchase this here!! Very disappointing!

Whats not to love about Whole Foods, except maybe for the price. But you know youre getting a premium product so its anticipated. This is a very nice store with a very convenient location to the other local shopping and downtown area. The customer service staff is phenomenal. I purchased lifefactory bottles for my whole family, Whole Foods guarantees them so that if it anyone drops one and it breaks, you can just bring it back for an exchange I find this surprising and very convenient.

What a pleasure it was to shop there today, a hugely busy day being Good Friday which I had forgotten. There were too many people but the young people all around, cashiers, stock clerks and the cart-gatherer-upper !!!!!were wonderfully fast, helpful,polite and friendly and so seemingly glad to be working there, that it made my day. If only all grocery stores could be staffed with such genuine young adults. Really!!!!!!

I have always been satisfied when shopping at this Whole Foods. People say its expensive; they are correct. You shouldnt be going to a Whole Foods to save money, you should go for the high quality service and goods. I would not recommend buying your day to day goods here. I would recommend getting your meat and seafood here though. Buy the other stuff elsewhere, unless you can afford it.

I always love shopping at this Whole Foods. I come generally once a week for my groceries and very rarely are they out of a product that I need or want. Also, the sales associates are very knowledgeable and always seem to be happy. I prefer the Glastonbury store over both the Milford and West Hartford loations.

Customer service is always great, the workers always have an answer for me and know where to find things...the food quality and options are awesome. The buffet and pizza shop always have a great variety and taste so good and you can always ask to sample anything.

Today it didnt seem like there was a good variety at the buffet for some reason. We had a really hard time figuring out what to eat. Some of it didnt look appealing. The collard greens looked like bay leaves and uncooked.
