most of the management and staff of this Belmont location are very rude and i think racist toward white people and mix people of Latino white mixed people. and have one white person male the works there they will not hire a white female i have been going to this store for 7 years the white females they had left. They think because your poor and live close to the store that you need them and there high prices. the cart man likes to harass the customers over the groceries carts the store is over priced and they do not treat the consumer or customer right i will never go back to this store and i have spent hundreds here not any more id rather go to big y stop n shop price rite anywhere but foodzoone

Ok OK... I shop everywhere, Stop & Shop, Big Y, Price Rite, Arnolds And yes at good old Food Zone. Food Zone is not a bad place and every time i been there witch is once a week for little things, i can say i never bought a big amount of things cause i never needed it but every time i go there is really clean and friendly people working there. Another thing, if you know how to food shop you have to always look at expired dates who doesnt do this???? Every person make mistakes i personally like this store even tho i shop everywhere else too! Hope this helps give it a try.

Expensive. And everytime I went there they have expired food. I cant stop there in fear I will grab something expired. And if they are out of stock on something your out of luck because if you want something of equal size to the item you want they wont price modify it for you. Rather go to stop and shop then food zone any day. Also side note, good luck getting a hold of anyone if you call them.

I dont really shop there on the regular, only when I need my West Indian items because I cant find them any where else. I bought some meat from them one time and it was rotten also you have to check the labels they have a practice to sell expired food as well. Only in Springfield, smh because they dont have competition is why they can get away with doing these things.

Awful customer service, scammers with sale items, reselling of free samples taken off the item they came with, waaaaaaaay over priced for everything. Good, convenient location but not the best to actually do major shopping. Theres a restaurant in the back that has really good pork shoulderl.. This i def suggest.

I like that I can find a variety of ethnic foods and spices. Theyre seafood section does smell quite often causing the whole entire store to smell. Its crazy but I think youd get poisoned from the fact that it isnt completely sanitary also the meat... you must inspect before leaving the store. I like the people.

1st, the throwback stale smell upon entry. 2nd, it could appear outdated or limited due to the foreign cuisine ingredients they focus on towards the immigrant shopper base. 3rd, they have plenty of spices, rices, packaged goods, some imported soft drinks and beer, etc. Good stop for food truck owners or chefs!

Its an okay supermarket. Prices arent the best though. But they do have a good selection of Asian products. There Its the only supermarket in the Forest Park neighborhood (and surrounding areas) so Im glad this market has stayed in business for the past few years to support the people in the neighborhood.

Horrible place. It smells, the people are rude and slow, and on top of bad service and terrible cleanliness, their meat is atrocious and youd save more shopping at Big Y or Stop and Shop, nevermind price rite. And lets no forget all of their side bussiness harassing you every time you enter.

I just moved to the area, and I really like this place! I dont buy meat (vegan).. but i an happy to find a place with such a good variety of vegetarian/vegan foods. And they have my favorite chocolate almond milk.. :) Also, the folks that work there are very friendly/nice.

I love coming here. I get to practice plates that Ive made in Culinary School. They have everything from Chinese,Japanese, jamaican,Dominican,Puertorican food. Everything fresh meats and seafood. And they serve lunch. Its a mini Big Y in with a multicultural flavor.

Extensive selection of international food items, and vast selection of meats. They also sell beer and wine at good prices. They have a good deli section, and they also have a hot food section with a variety of Puerto Rican/Dominican food :)

They have an excellent selection of harder to find veggies and other ingredients for South American, Caribbean or Southeast Asian dishes. Standard produce isnt the best quality (youll want to use it the same day). Prices are very good.

Worst manager I ever seen and he doesnt care about his employees and I worked there for 4 days and they never paid me. I called but they would act like they didnt understand me, I guess that was a way of firing me after using me

Good place to get international foods, especially Puerto Rican and Vietnamese ingredients. Selection overall is somewhat limited -they definitely stock popular items more heavily. Peanut butter is much cheaper elsewhere.

Nice local supermarket. Lots of ethnic foods. Wonderful vegetable section. Reasonably low prices on produce and meats. When you dont have time to travel to the big stores, thus is a WONDERFUL neighborhood supermarket!

New management has improved the quality of fresh meat & vegetables. Great variety of ethnic food sold here. Also has a hot meal counter with very good food at reasonable prices. I shop here all the time

The produce is very good quality and affordable. The store could use some help with aesthetics and organization. However you can find items here not sold on the big chain stores.

Located in Forest Park great place to grab quick groceries. Great perk with this store is they will provide a ride and delivery to your home for shopping with them... Amazing

Awesome selection of hard to find obscure ingredients. I think most of the prices are good but some things are actually more expensive than other grocery stores.
