I recently went to this location to purchase insulation for my attic. I looked at all of the options and found some insulation, per price tag, that had an R-30 value, covered ~56sqft per package, and proceeded to carefully stack 8 packages onto a cart. I carefully found my way to the cashier with my... TOWER of insulation... and the woman at the service desk agreed to ring me out. When she scanned it, it rang up at $75 a package, and I was certain that it was $35 a package. So she went with me to the isle and confirmed the price and the insulation I loaded came from the location marked $35 per package. When we got back to the register, the line at the service desk had started to grow, so she asked the cashier to ring me out, telling her that it was ringing up wrong. The cashier proceeded to tell me that they stocked it in the wrong location, and the price should be $75 a package. She then went on to say that if I wanted to go with the less expensive rolls I would have to put back my... Tower! of insulation, load my cart up with the less expensive stuff, and come back through the line. Having to pick up my daughter soon, I knew I did not have the time to... Restock their insulation and wait in the now growing line behind me. So I ask her... You stocked it in the wrong location correct? Yes... You Marked it inappropriately? Yes... What happened to... The customer is always right? and if you mark something inappropriately you have to give it to them at that price? She replies... That only works for food! Irate by her attitude, I decided to leave my cart right where is was, and let her take care of their... CONFIRMED... Mistake. I will not be returning to this location, nor any other most likely if that is Home Depots policy. Lastly, I have no problem paying the full price, money was not the issue, my goal was not to get more for less, my goal was to get what I needed for my home. I spent my time and effort to load up what I needed. At the VERY least they could have offered to bring out the insulation I thought I was purchasing quickly so I could have purchased what I intended, and still have time to pick up my daughter from school...

My fiancé and I have shopped in this HomeDepot for many years... since we were children and most recently as a couple fixing up our home. We recently saw that Home Depot was considered a pet friendly place... having seen multiple little dogs in the store quite a few times. A close friend of ours brings his German Shepherd in almost every weekend. We were so happy to find this out, given we have a well behaved, mellow tempered dog we love to have with us as much as possible. We brought him with us today for his first time and made it through the store with numerous complements from fellow customers and staff on how well behaved he is. Checking out, our cashier was lovely and her too enjoyed Axels smiles and wagging tale. It wasnt until after we checked out and waiting to get fencing material, that a women who appeared to be a manager or shift manager of some sorts told me to take the dog out of the store because they arent allowed. I explained to her that I heard Home Depot was a pet friendly business and she laughed and said no. Apparently something about my honesty was funny. It didnt dawn on me until we got Axel to the truck, that Iv seen and been with other dogs in a Home Depot stores before. Must be because Axel is of Pitbull bread. This made my fiancé and I very upset. i will make sure to tell dog owners I know that dogs arent allowed in the store and well have to go else where.

After living in Glastonbury for a short time, I quickly realized that no one at Home Depot knows their own store layout, where items are located, what the store polices are and are sometimes out right rude. I ignored this and continue to purchase items from this location because of convenience. I made the mistake of buying large items from the store and even though items are under warranty they refuse to exchange them. They offered to ship it out to get it fixed for 6 weeks after they have already had it for 1 week without telling me state of my item. I spoke with the home office and they said because the mower was purchased in store there was nothing they could do and it was at the stores discrepancy. After I told them they are losing my business from now going forward, they did not do anything to keep my business. I will not ever shop at Home Depot after spending thousands of dollars in a short time of my home ownership.

I was looking for 3 items. Small chandelier light bulbs "B" style. I had no idea what that was. When I finally did find an associate in that department. He treated me as if I was stupid for not knowing. Next item, a lighted dimmer switch. None to be had. Next item, a replacement handle for a screen door. Wrong color, and packages they did have had been opened and taped shut. I wont even bring up my previous experience with opened and taped products. And Home Depot has the balls too charge full price! Screw you folks! So I left with two packages of light bulbs that could have been purchased at Stop & Shop. Most likely for the same price.

I am not sure how a store like this allows their employees to be so arrogant, rude, inconsiderate and obnoxious. A simple request for information is responded to as if I were annoying the staff by interrupting their busy schedule. Helpful is not in their vocabulary. Add on the ridiculous prices - they are higher than other Home Depot locations - and it is an awful mix. Katz Hardware is the place to go first; only if they dont have what I need will I set foot in this Home Depot, and then only if I do not have time to go to another location (or a Lowes). Avoid this store if you can.

Not the best location Ive ever been to in my life! Some of the associates are really young and experienced. Home Depot might be trying to save a few dollars hiring young kids because its cheaper. However that business model isnt really working too well because theyve lost some loyal customers along the way. Im definitely one of them!! Before I use to come in here all the time for all my home improvement needs. Now I go to one of their competitors with more knowledgeable and courteous staff. Helps that the prices for some products offered at one of Home Depots competitors are also lower.

Went to get a new gas hose and regulator for my grill. Had a hard time to get staff to help me find things and instead of walking me to where it is I just got sent in the completely wrong spot. Then when I finally was in the right area they had no parts in stock. Thankfully I drove over to the Manchester store and they had an abundance of the part in fact I had many many choices there. Some one at Manchester is not doing their job with inventory. I find it hard to believe at one store there are zero product and at the other one there is such an abundance.
