We recently remodeled our kitchen basically bringing the kitchen down to the walls and sub-floor and updated cabinets, flooring and tiling. We hired Dan Boyle owner of Capstone Home Improvement to do this for us. Dan did a fantastic job. As it goes with remodeling, Dan discovered some problems that we had not expected. In our case they were with our sub-floor and the insulation in the outside kitchen wall. Dan made us aware of this and rather than take the easy way and not tell us, he made sure we knew and discussed options with us to correct the problems. This is no small deal. Our floor would have failed and our pipes could have frozen. Dan believes in doing things right. He does not take short cuts. We will not have these problems with our now great kitchen. His professionalism is stellar and he performs quality workmanship. He managed the electrical, plumbing and counter top contractors and was willing to work with us and our cabinet contractor when we had trouble with some of their product. We were extremely happy with the end result. Dan’s attention to detail shined in the end result.

We used Dan Boyle from Capstone for 2 jobs this year: a complete renovation of our bathroom, and replacement our front door. Dan is very knowledgeable and skilled. He went above and beyond to make sure that both jobs were done with superb quality and that we were totally satisfied. I could list so many instances in which he put in extra time or went out of his way for us. He was extremely courteous, neat, and responsive to our questions. Dan picked up and vacuumed each afternoon, and made every effort to keep our home as dust and dirt free as possible as he worked. We are completely satisfied with Dans work, recommend him highly, and plan to use him for all our home renovation projects in the future.

Dan did a project to reconfigure our deck after we got rid of our above-ground pool. He did an excellent job. He is professional, and thorough. He completed the work on time. He left the work space clean every night. We are very pleased with the results. He charged a reasonable amount for the work. When we first called him to enquirer about the work we left a message and he called us back promptly (our experience tells us that this happens less than half the time with other contractors). We recommend him to others.

We hired Dan to build us a 16 by 12 deck on the back of our log cabin, I have to say it is now my favorite part of our house. We hired Dan based on his reputation and what we had heard from another customer. His craftsmanship and attention to detail is impeccable, he completed the project ahead of schedule and showed up everyday when he said he would.
