Seems like theres never no one available in any department. Need to walk around the store for a bit to find someone who would Not know the answer to the question since they work in a different department. They have one or 2 people that actually know what theyre doing in the entire store for the entire staff, the rest are just there. Most of on the floor employees are with no sense of ethics or customer service urge. The other day a guy asked me "what do you need" when I approached him with question about flooring. Is this a part of training?? Are they trained to ask a customer "what do you need"?? I just told him that he sucks at customer service and walked away and went to lowes. Every one walks around with an undeserved sense of accomplishment like they run the place. Will think twice before going again to this homedepot.

its a compromise - hate relationship I have with Home Depot in general - the West Springfield store has mediocre help - any time I have gone into purchase heavy building materials - when loading the truck all the lot help has disappeared. If something requires a fork lift e.g. pallet of quickrete - th fork lift operator can not be found - so if you need lumber in West Springfield - go to 84 Lumber (better lumber, drive your truck up to the pile, you always get loading assistance - if you need trim go to Sandford and Hawley on Cold Spring street - plumbing supplies Larrys in Chicopee and Hampden/Simmerman Springfield for all things electrical - sure they might be open until 10 but they will have what you need and your overall trip will be far less time -

This is the largest HD of the six locations in the area. If Enfield, Chicopee, Wlbraham, Westfield, or Hadley doesnt have it, then this West Springfield location will. The staff in the plumbing section have bailed me out of a jam or two with their expertise, but it seems that all the departments have their knowledgeable employees. This is a great store location, with excellent inventory choices, and a great bunch of employees.

We bought a refrigerator. It had a minor problem - a snapped of fplastic piece that held a moving plastic drawer in place. It has been eight weeks. Weve had the wrong part sent twice. The home store where we bought it has done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to honor their simple warranty. BEWARE if you buy an appliance - the store does not fix ANYTHING - they refer you to the manufacturer and wash their hands of the process.

Do all home improvement shopping there. Conveniently next to major roads. 1 star down for they keep moving stuff around, so you have to keep relearning the store and that wastes a lot of time. And time is money if you are a contractor. Just wish they would stop moving everything around. When you can go in and pick something up in five minutes. Now it takes a whole lot longer.....

I am a once or twice a week vendor (NRG home solar) the employees are so nice to me. I see them interact with customers and they are very knowledgeable and very attentive. Of my stores that I rotate through they are my favorite. All the stores are great but this is by far my favorite

WORST customer service ever! I was transferred back and forth to the front desk to just ask if they duplicate house keys, for the lady saying depends what kind of car key it is. Literallly on the phone on hold for 8minutes, to get assistance from someone with her panties in a bunch.

Its difficult to find help. Help is never available. You have to wave at someone who has to call someone for help. 80% of times Im helped by other customers who are also looking for help.

Everything was great here. The employees Dustin Marco and Pam are the best that I have seen at any Home Depot and I travel for work so Ive been to lots. Thanks for the help.
