The bride to be lives in Pueblo Colorado, while most of the family lives in Kansas. We went down and picked out dresses for the wedding, got the payments down, measured, the whole nine yards. The dresses came in June 10, 2009, well my husband went down to pick up all the dresses for out of town, on his way down there, I get a phone call saying that my daughters flower girl dress isnt in, and they can have it by July 15, 2009. Well here is the problem, the wedding is July 18, 2009. So the bride had to go down pick a whole new dress, they paid for the rush shipping and fed ex to ship it here. So now the flower girls dont match, they were able to rush order another dress, but not the one we had picked out first. Well here is the kicker of it all. I call today to get the tracking number, they didnt have it, they had to call fed ex and get it from there, and second of all, there was still a $84.00 balance on the dress that they didnt seem to mention when they got picked up. They took money off the dress, but not enough. this dress was $150.00 and the " book keeper " tell me well we gave it to you for $139.00, wow..... not even twenty dollars, I told her that was there screw up not ours, she tell me that she called fed ex and told them not to deliver the dress until the balance got paid, cause they did us a favor by rush ordering it and shipping it to us. I told her that wasnt even the dress we wanted, and they needed to do more then that. I told her to call up fed ex and they can send it right back to Colorado cause we didnt want it. Here you have the brides most important day and there screwing it up in more then one way. So for anyone that does to this place, Dont, you will get treated like crap and have crappy customer service cause all they care about it themselves and money. You will have better service some where else, that I can almost promise, you will not like Tie the knot In Pueblo Colorado. Another thing, a few days before the bride was getting married the bridal shop called the bride, wanting this review taken off, and started saying something about karma, well you know the way I see it, if you guys would have done a good job, you would have got a good review, you do a crappy job, and your getting a crappy review, and you wanna talk about karma to a bride a few days before she is getting married? karma is when your loosing business cause you have crappy customer service, since day one you guys have been nothing to rude to her. So people in Pueblo Colorado and surrounding areas, here is the store your looking at in a nut shell. THIS REVIEW IS STAYING HERE, AND I AM NOT DELETING IT!!!! maybe you guys should start doing a better job at helping your customers.

I went to this store to look for my wedding dress, when i first got there they completely ignored me. I felt bad but i still keep on walking around the store looking at dresses. Until I went close to one of the display window to see the accessories, a older lady (i thought it was the owner) asked me if i was being helped. I answered no and she started asking me what i was looking for. I explained to them that my wedding was going to be something really small and private & i only needed a simple gown. The owner said, can i pick the dress for you, i said yes. She brought this dress that I tried on, i was beautiful but no the type of dress i was expecting because it was kind of big and sumptuous to what i was looking for. Once i tried on, i explained to them what I wanted because i felt they understood the first time i said it. It didnt make any difference, the older lady kept on bringing same type of dresses, I only tried another one of those and said i was not gonna try the rest because it wasnt what i was looking for. Until then, they brought a type of dress that fit what i wanted, but i did not like, but i took advantage of it to tell them "this is the type of dress Im looking for". They didnt have a broad selection, they were only able to bring another one that i did not love either. They tried to check on the availability of two dresses I saw on the catalog but due to the proximity of my wedding date, they werent able to find it. They kept on saying all the time "well is your wedding but i think you should get a dress like this, the most important thing is the dress, etc" which made me uncomfortable and thought that they just wanted to sell a dress no matter what my desires were because i told them I was looking for something really small and I felt i was going to look ridiculous on one of those huge dresses they kept on bringing me. I cant say they were rude, but i didnt feel comfortable the way they treated me and they have very limited selection of dresses anyways.

I am going to start this off with saying that we did make a last minute appointment. We were wedding dress shopping at another place and when we didnt find anything at the first place we started calling around to other shops in the area. When we called to ask if they had space, the woman on the phone made it sound like it was a huge inconvenience. As soon as we walked in 15 minutes later, no one was there. The girls were just standing around and talking. One person came in to look at accessories while I was trying on dresses but two costumers are very easily managed by three women. While I was actually putting dresses on no one seemed to care what I had to say about the dresses. The older woman, who I believe to be the owner, kept insisting that I had to keep part of a dress that I explicitly said that I did not want. Also, when I showed her another dress that I was thinking about, this woman asked if I was open to criticism. I thought it was going to be constructive but instead she said, "Dont you think that gives you a little bit of a belly?" To which I replied, "They are called spanks." That was my cue to leave. I do not recommend anyone to go into this store to shop for their big day.

They were so kind and friendly while we were shopping around for our dresses, and their attitudes completely changed once the dresses were paid off. We paid extra money to get a rush order on one bridesmaid dress and they didnt order it until the second dress wss ordered about a month later and then tried to say we didnt pay for expedited shipping when it clearly states it on the receipt. The owner got frustrated with myself, the bride, for an alteration because I didnt want to pay 40.00 for a pair of heels, that she obviously bought at the thrift store, she was trying to push on me. She was also trying to force me to get my dress fitted in a bra/girdle that was once again something she was trying to push me to purchase. I told her no that I had my bra and I do not like girdles because they are restrictive and uncomfortable and I like to be natural. She then very audibly told her employee to refer me to a different seamstress because she was done with me. She had made her money off of me and couldnt milk me for anything more so she was done. Thats the service you will receive at Tie The Knot. Shes a pushy old witch and she doesnt want to deal with you if you dont agree with what she wants.
