Horrible Horrible Horrible place....PLEASE READ..I had an appt at The Green Bride on saturday February 2nd at 11:30. First off they double booked the appt and told me that my appt was at 10 not 11:30 even though I have a confirmation email with the 11:30 time that I didnt see till I got to work this morning. The manager sai...d she would work with me and to come in anyways. I thought that was great. When I got there, my family was with me, my 3 sisters, my mom, my niece, my girl and my 2 kids so yes it was an entourage, we are all very excited. The manager Dee Dee asked me what size I was and of course I didnt know, she said lets measure you, took me to a back dressing room didnt inform my family of anything but I just brushed that off. Then she measured me and said I was a size 18, I found it big but she was the expert so I went with that. Then she continued to ask me if I had gone to Davids Bridal, I said yes and she asked if I had found anything there. I was very confused and told her no, thats why I was at her shop. She explained that she only had about 7 dresses in that size but that she would show them to me anyways. Ok was my response. She didnt offer me any undergarments, or robes or anything, pretty much had me standing there in my undies waiting for her to bring me a dress. She brings me the dress and as I though it was too big, falling off me on top, then she says she will get me another one when I hear my sister calling for me in the hallway. She asks Dee Dee where is my sister and Dee Dee says she doesnt know who her sister was. Mind you it was me and another bride in the whole shop, I open the door to the dressing room to see whats going on and my sister is literally shaking and informs me that the employees of the stores had asked my mother who is 80 get up from a chair to have a bridesmaid from the other bridal party sit down because her bride was trying on dresses.. I was speechless, Dee Dee comes back into the dressing room and says this is another dress, I tell her im getting dressed and I would be leaving. She didnt ask why or anything I told her what my sister had just told me and her answer was why didnt anyone of your bridal party get up from the their seat (which was a bench mind you and thats exactly what my family did) and give it to her? REALLY????? Im not sure if it was because my mom is older, or because I wasnt a size 2 or because we are Latin or because she was having a bad day but I felt horrible. My mother also felt bad because she thought she had caused a problem. Im still speechless that in 2013 anyone has to put up with this type of treatment.

Could not be happier with my experience. I got my dress yesterday, exactly two weeks before my ceremony...and this was also my one stop besides a quick glance at Davids Bridal. I was not made to feel embarrassed at all for being completely clueless as to what I was looking for in a wedding dress. There were many, many options in a wide range of styles and prices. My mom and I picked out dresses that we thought might be what we wanted but I ultimately went with one they selected for me based on my previous selections, and on what I casually mentioned I might be looking for. Seriously, this dress was almost the last dress I might have selected on my own but once it was on, we could all instantly see that it was "the one". I didnt have to try on one more dress. The fit was absolutely perfect in every way. No last minute scramble to try to get anything altered in time. We walked out with the dress the same day. I am very satisfied because Ive recently gained a decent amount of weight in a short amount of time, but they were able to find a dress that still flattered me and that will allow me to feel much more confident on my day. Also, the price was EXACTLY what I was looking for (sale price). Couldnt be happier about my wedding dress purchase. Also, the customer service was spectacular. I am fairly shy but flt very comfortable while receiving help and in asking for specifics. I called to make an appointment on one of their off days, and they called me back by 8 am the next morning.

This was my first stop to shop for a wedding dress. My Mom and sister were excited, thinking that it was a special day for me. After being measured as a 16 on top, and 14 and 12 in my lower half, I went to look for dresses that I liked. They ended up only having 2 dresses there I could get on my body. While one of the fit "perfectly", it definitely wast my style. They seemed eager to sell it to me, of course, but when I said that it wasnt going to work, their attitude seemed to change toward us. While I was in the dressing room putting my street clothes back on, the owner got rude with my Mom outside the dressing room and said that the appointment was over and that she couldnt look any further at the dresses. When I walked out of the dressing room I was being cordial to them about not finding something but that I may return again. They were all smiles at me. After learning about how rude Deedee was to my Mom (Jeckyll and Hyde!), we pretty much determined that we would never think of returning there anyway. I had read the negative reviews online before going....and those were pretty on target for the way they treat you if you dont buy a dress there. I guess thats one way to run a business.

When I discovered The Green Bride I had looked at over 100 dresses and tried on at least 25. I was reluctant to keep looking but when I walked in the door I was greeted right away by DeeDee and was immediately impressed by how adorable and clean the store was. All the dresses I tried on were beautiful and DeeDee knew what color sash, veil and jewelry/accessories would look great with each dress. She never once made me feel uncomfortable or rushed to make a decision.She was educated about everything she had in stock and was able to answer all my questions. I thoroughly enjoyed my dress shopping experience and was able to walk out the door with my dream dress, my veil and a big smile on my face. I would recommend The Green Bride to anyone who was looking to have a good experience, save money and get their dress that day. They do alterations also so I will be bringing my dress back 2 1/2 months before my wedding to have them do my alterations. Thank you Dee Dee!

I had a WONDERFUL experience at The Green Bride!!! Holly was incredibly helpful and patient when it came to deciding on the perfect dress for my wedding. She listened carefully when I described what I was looking for, and she had a great eye for what might look good on me...one of the dresses that ended up being in my top two was selected by her (I hadnt seen it when I looked through the dresses initially). She was so understanding of the fact that it was a "process" to pick just the right dress (narrowing it down from 5, to 4, to 3, to 2, to 1), and she never once made me feel like a pain for wanting to try on the top contenders again (and again!). Her mom (who owns and runs the shop along with Holly) was also really warm and helpful. I HIGHLY recommend this place!!! Thank you so, so much, Holly...I will think of you fondly when Im putting on my beautiful dress next fall!!! :)
