There are many reasons why I enjoy shopping here but, Id like to say that the NG in Northglenn is by far one of the best. The employees are extremely helpful, down to earth, educated on the product, and friendly. First of all, Natural Grocers actually advocates for their workers. Unlike Sprouts who I worked for in the past, Natural Grocers pays their employees well AND gives them benefits. I was a manager at Sprouts and received NO BENEFITS. Second of all, Natural Grocers is a small business with no hidden ingredients like PALM OIL. Thats right...Sprouts not only sells palm oil in a jar on the shelf, they use it in a lot of their store brand items. Lastly, Natural Grocers sells a lot more local products encouraging the consumer to keep their money in their state and supporting our state farmers. I officially stopped shopping at Sprouts and would rather pay a bit more for friendlier service and better impact on my neighbors (ie local farmers). Do the research, youll be glad you did.

I have met 1 friendly employee here thus far! Went there last week and was in line with my pregnant wife, waited in line while a cashier was free and was very obviously just standing there watching the other cashier, this cashier waited for the next people to arrive in line to open another drawer, and this was my cherry to the pie to write this review. Selection varies every time I come here, sometimes we have glass bottles of water, sometimes we only sell plastic...I will keep shopping Natural Grocers but I will not return to this location....for now!

Whenever possible, I try to shop at Vitamin Cottage. It really is the best. I do not find the alternative big stores very helpful in meeting my sugar-free requirements. I love that they carry good products, and the staff is really cooperative and helpful. They are cheaper than whole foods, and more complete in this area for sugar free and many other things than Sprouts. They are worth the effort to find. I have gone to VITamin Cottage for 40 years now, and although they are grown way big, they still are easy to work with.

Ive always enjoyed this particular store, the staff have always been helpful above and beyond the call. An example was a few months ago I took my 5 year old in to pick a couple of things up...she was hungry so we were going to pick up a snack as well. The Gal working in produce overheard her and asked if she would like a banana...and of course my little one was thrilled. This is the type of store I like to give my hard earned money too...because I come out with great products and friendly service.

I hardly ever do reviews but I absolutely love this store. Way less expensive than the "health food store/farmers market" down the street and than "whole paycheck." Not only that but the employees are fabulous. Extremely friendly and helpful. Much better than a few other Natural Grocers I have been to. If you want healthy organic food (and supplements) and you cant produce your own or eat from your local organic farm shop here.

An employee came up to me pretty quickly to ask if I needed help. She was very helpful and talked quit a bit with me. Then when I went to check out, I was taken over to a register that had not been previously open so that I did not have to wait in line. They offered me some coupons for an upcoming sale and let me know that a health magazine was free for me to take. It was an overall awesome experience!

This has got to be the finest grocery store ever. They are knowledgable, kind and helpful, ALL organic produce, and best of all they are a "mama-papa" store, which supports local business and NOT the big corporations. I believe if more people shopped "mama-papa" stores it would be a big boost for our planet and for humankind.

This is a cozy little store but the kids who work here are rude. Im pretty sure your blood has to pump slow to work here. The lady in the walker had more energy then the employees. Greet your customers with a smile and a thank you would be nice!!!!

It is an expensive place. However, if really want healthy organic and responsible food then they have the market cornered. Its the only place you can consistently find healthy food in every category. They dont cut corners on quality.

Everyone is generally super awesome here. Its often not busy, however the prices are sometimes a little bit higher than Sprouts or online. There is a good selection and people who work here are super helpful.

Very good organic selection, good sale prices, and lots of vitamins. But... the checkout process is very slow and the non-sale items are ridiculously priced. As a result it isnt a reliable weekly grocer.

This is a fantastic store with a great selection of products that are natural and free of chemicals. I would highly recommend a visit if you are health minded. Friendly staff and very knowledgeable.

Good selection of fresh foods and grains. Half the store is made up of a natural pharmacy. Unfortunately, this place does not have any prepared food, which would have been a better use of the space.
