Vitamin Cottage is fantastic. Im particularly fond of the Green Mountain Location. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Recently Ive been experiencing a lot of pain and tension in my shoulders and Ive been too busy to get to the doctor. Ibuprofen and Tylenol werent helping much so I decided to stop in to VC to see what they had to offer. One of the employees (Emily) spent a great deal of time talking with me before pointing me in the directions of a few products. Its now about 2 hours later and I feel so much better thanks to her help. And the best part is I feel better for less than 1/2 the cost of my physicians co pay.

VC pisses me off quite a bit, but theyre the only ones around who carry clean healthy food. Staff is awesome. Just they have issues with carrying certain items that should not be in the store... thats what happens when you go public I suppose... HFCS or just CS should not be in that store along with some other nasty surprises. Read your labels still if you shop here thinking everything is "okay". Their produce is safe to grab whatever though, thats how they got their start... Honestly Id give them more like a 3, but I cant just because theyre WAAY better then WH.

Went to the store in Oklahoma City, the cheese that I bought was rotten. The manager commented it had been on the refrigerator since January. I was required to fill out a form, provide address and drivers license information, just to exchange a merchandise that they sold me old and rotten. I called the corporate office and it was not help. Until the company treat people better and change their policy I will never return to the store, and will use social media to let the whole world know on how terrible they are as a health food store.

All produce is organic. Many items here are rarely found in other grocery stores. Too much promotion of supplements and heavy emphasis on the fad paleo diet. Not enough on a healthy plant-based way of eating. Nevertheless, they do carry enough things I buy to make it worthwhile for me: nutritional yeast, oat flour, bulk organic beans, oats, spices, much more.

The employees are very helpful and friendly. I love that they use boxes instead of bags its a great way to recycle the boxes and avoid making trash from bags. Given that the quality of the food seems higher then other organic grocery stores it also seems less expensive. I love this place its my favorite grocery store by far.

This is one of the best Vitamin Cottage stores. At this store they do classes and training periodically. Vitamin Cottage has great prices and always has a great selection of products. Mostly we shop there for the groceries not the vitamins. Their produce is always organic and delicious.
