This Safeway on 38th and wadawoth, is a dirty ,dump and trashy grocery store. ..Since the original Safeway group sold the businesses to the Albertson, it gotten worst. The prices is a rip off This Safeway back then was good but now these no good service. It became a Mexican Safeway with one short mean looking fat lady name Karen. She got an attitude. And she dont need to be working there. Margie, mike who is gay looking old been working there since late 90s They never move on to the next level So georiganna is definitely been there since late 90s. She fake dumb Mexican who alway be laughing but backstabber Man. All the employees I uses to know back in 1997-2013 , had left too...since I left in 2012. The end of Safeway good ole day. Now it a dumpster Like i say ,When I left then all the original left. Safeway is not the same.

As far as groceries go, this is fairly ordinary with regards to layout and selection. The primary problem here is the service. It took so long to make it through the checkout line and not because the line was long, but because the cashiers lacked any sense of urgency. I stood in an queue that fed into two express lane and a normal lane...none of them moved for 15 minutes and nobody had more than ten items (God forbid you actually shop for a full week). I then went over to the Starbucks before I left and they made it through 4 people over the course of another 15 minutes. Never again. Had I not been forced to this store by circumstance, I would avoid it entirely.

I used to come here as a part my morning routine. They have good breakfast burritos, and decent (sometimes lacking) energy drink selection. Now they eliminated the self checkout, and only have one register open in the morning, which is always backed up with 5+ customers. Making my once convenient stop, time consuming and impractical.

If I could give it zero stars, I would. Customer service has steadily gone downhill over the years and is now nonexistent. If you like waiting in interminably long lines...over and over again because the prescription is never ready when they say it will be...then this is your pharmacy. But its my personal hell...

Very tired of the Helps bad attitude. If Safeway is going to price items as if they were a boutique shop then they need the customer service to match. Well be going to King Soopers from here on out, or Walmart. At least at Walmart, I expect rotten attitudes and poor customer service.

When the Albertsons group took over they changed the lighting and have removed the self check out. On top of that it appears that they have reduced staffing. This has caused longer lines and wait times. The disturbing issue is that they dont seem to care about your time.

Came in from out of town. I am very impressed with cleanliness and friendliness. I was helped locate what I needed AND when ringing me up, the cashier noticed an item not rung up at right price. Gave me the refund. I would have never known. Great job!!

After about 10 visits, I find that the groceries are a lot more past due than king Soopers and the prices are pretty much the same. I will drive the extra few blocks to make sure my veggies last more than one night.

Theres a reason why this safeway still exist. Great deli and bakery compared to most and service is above par. This store is easier to shop unlike some with confusing aisles and clutter.

Very pricey there 3s a crowd well open another line is a lie. I posted a picture. The deli staff was very rude and didnt even ask how I would like my stuff sliced. A horrible experience

Floral department was terrible. Wilted yellow dry flowers left and right. Couldnt even find a basic bouquet that looked decent enough to buy. The store seems dirty and unkempt.
