I have shopped at this store for probably 20 years. I dont know what has happened in management or what lately, but I am so angry every time I end up going here. I cant usually shop until after 8pm and the store is so picked over and not stocked up that I can hardly find anything I want. They stopped carrying some of my favorite salad kits, which are the Kroger-Fresh Select brand, and started carrying WAY TOO MANY chopped salad kits. One can only eat some version of cole slaw so much. They have done a re-set on the store recently that is absolutely maddening-I cant find anything! And I am not the only one. The last time I was in (a couple of weeks ago) I heard other customers complaining about the same things. This used to be my absolute go-to grocery store. I filled out a complaint card and nobody has even bothered to contact me. With all of the grocery store choices we have in this area, and the new Whole Foods opening (well see-my opinion is mixed about them) across the street in December, I would think they would be stepping up their game over here and not ruining the store. I just may be taking my business to another location, or maybe another brand of store altogether.

There are three Kings in town and I always choose this one. The staff here just seem really happy, which makes your shopping experience feel more welcoming. The ladies in the bakery are so wonderful, they are friendly, they remember you and go out of their way to make sure you find what you need. I also greatly appreciate the folks who bag my groceries! They are always willing to walk me out to my car and help me load it. (Holly is my favorite) I am 9 months pregnant and everyone in the store throughout each trip asks me if I need help or how Im doing. Many of the staff have gone out of their way to learn my name and my sons name and say hello to us. I also love how the store randomly has given out balloons and stickers in the past! Ive even received a free flower randomly as they handed them out to people. It doesnt feel like a big box store, it feels like a neighborhood market. We continue to go back every week because of this.

Best King Soopers!!!! All the employees here have amazing customer service skills. Especially Bekka, she is such an amazing and helpful employee, she answered our questions and went the extra mile for us. I might have gotten her in trouble because I was asking questions about employment and even kept a look out anyone needed her but the coast was clear. The manager might have took it that she was too busy on us, but no one needed help until the moment the manager walked up and noticed a confused elderly man. I also recognize this manager, he is also a very good man and has taken good care of me before. I hope that I did not get her in any trouble for she is an amazing person, so is her boss and all the other employees I have encountered. I thank you all again for being so amazing and welcoming me everytime I come back. There is no other Kings Soopers like this one. Thanks again Bekka for being Great.

I personally love King Soopers, but in purchasing gas at the Hover location cost me thousands. It has been decided after a lot of leg work that my card and pin were stolen...max cash withdrawals in N.M. This is just one of those things, but when sharing with my bank this issue the banker also said after purchasing gas at the Hover St. location she also had her card scammed...because these two purchases were out of the norm it is in all likely hood at this location.. Please be advised, no debit card purchases where a pin can be scammed...use only as credit...or, you, too could check your bank balance and find what was thousands is now $30....my bank, Chase was outstanding...within 48 hrs they replaced my funds.... Gas pumps need to be checked frequently for these scams/cameras......a big shock when it happens to you....Diane Henifin

Yes, debacles happen, but rarely. The stellar staff that I am forever observing going the extra mile, far outweigh any minor inconvenience. Shane was delightful as he paused, fruit in hand, to tell us the secret of bringing forth the natural flavors of lovely grapefruit I was drooling over; Va in the Deli, is so engaging and fun, while superbly professional and gracious. He brightened our mood considerably last weekend! There are many more "King Sooperites" that bring their own unique smiles and spice to the marvelous stew, all in the name of happy people breaking bread together, and I fully intend to give them credit as they extend themselves to me and mine in the days to come. This place has been going downhill for awhile. They need more help or something. There was no carts last I went. Had to walk back to the parking lot to get one. Theyre usually out of the products I use by early afternoon and I dont see anyone restocking. Im never able to get everything on my list here. The check out lines are rediculous. Never enough registers open. The baggers are terrible. I started bagging my own. They act insulted. Almost forceful to bag your groceries for you. I started going to a few different stores to get my things. Found better pricing, better service and better product. There are so many smaller stores so close, try shopping around. A run of the mill grocery shopping store that provides at best an easy shopping experience or at a worst a frantic and claustrophobic nightmare akin to the type of things youd hear said of a highway side Walmart. The store is regularly unclean and the staff doesnt seem to like interacting with the majority of their customers. Its difficult to point out the pros of a grocery store aside from the obvious things a grocery store should do and King Soopers does that but, beware of the potential unpleasant walkthrough here and there. After midnight you certainly want to keep a look out walking from your car to the store as its a regular hang out for weird and often loud people

The selection and pricing is good for the most part, but this store is entirely too busy. I get crazy anxiety when trying to shop here. From the crowded and dangerous parking lot, to the insanely narrow and cramped isles - this store needs to rework some of its layout and try to do something to spread out the shopping to different times so there arent a million people in there at once. Additionally, employees always seem to gather in groups right in the middle of the aisles by the checkout - wtf? ALSO, PLEASE STOCK THE OTHER FLAVORS OF HALO TOP ICE CREAM! WHY WOULD YOU HAVE LEMON OVER ANY OF THE GOOD FLAVORS???

Our neighborhood grocery store. So yes, we go here primarily out of proximity to our neighborhood, but if there were other choices, wed remain loyal. Clean, stocked, fast service, great prices. I was here during the flood of 2013, and KS stayed open the whole time, with minimal staff and even when power was out. This KS was our only lifeline. Great store, great management.

King Soopers has done an awesome job in the past few years of getting lots of healthy and non-standard dietary items in the store. My wife cant have dairy or gluten, so that normally meant going to more expensive stores or getting "eh" tasting food. Not anymore, thanks to KS making such efforts to supply organic/gluten free/grass-fed/non-dairy/locally-produced/etc. food.
