This place usto be a friendly store. That has recently gone out the window. Called about the breakfast burritos they recently started making to see if they had any... they have a Mexican in that department that couldnt understand me because he obviously didnt speak English and he was able to muster out "call back when someone else is back from lunch". For the love of God, hire someone that can speak English if they are gonna deal with customers. So, i callecalled back and spoke to a lady by the name of Jennifer and asked her if they had any breakfast burritos so she went and checked. When she got back to the phone she said yes, they did. I asked if she happened to see what kind and she said all nasty like "ohhh geeze" and reluctantly went back to check. Im a paying customer! Being treated like that is uncalled for! This is what these people are paid for.... CUSTOMER SERVICE! NOT to be rude to customers like that. I hope Mr. LaGree still owns this store. I cant wait to inform him of the rudeness of the people employeed at this store!

Its the only grocery store for 30 miles, thats why I gave it a 2nd star. I shop at the dollar store for food now, just because of the policy that venture cripple creek has, to stand in line behind people with 200 items, paying with food stamps, or writing a check, just to get gas. The "customer service booth" has a big sign up that says booth is for western union and bill pay only. You MUST wait in line for gas or cigarettes or really any other customer service related question. This is not a customer service booth, its not even that, but the fact there will be 4 people standing in the booth. You can even go over there, they politely tell you you HAVE to wait in line. so a employee can walk to the booth to ring up gas and get cigarettes. this is pathetic. probably 75% of the people coming in, are coming in for gas. there is a huge line at the pumps. and we are all waiting at one isle. behind a mountain of groceries. its so lame and happens every time. seriously get a new manager.

Julia is super friendly and this review is not about her. The most unfriendly, cold, and angry woman was the cashier this Sunday evening 08/06/17. We said hello to her as we walked in and she just stared and frowned at us. When we needed to pay for our groceries we waited 15 minutes as she hid in the back. I had to find her in the back and she grudgingly came up to ring up our groceries. She frowned at us and never spoke. This woman does not need to ever have any customer contact.

Gas pumps break down every six months it seems every storm rain or snow and you can only pump with a credit card if you can. But they dont offer prepay cards when this happens very inconvenient when the next gas station is 18 miles away

The staff here is really friendly, theyre wonderful. This place has the cheapest meats and produce Ive seen anywhere. As for everything else though its fairly expensive.
