I was really excited to see this finally open in Longmont as the one in Boulder is one of the places I visit on a regular basis to get dinner. After giving it a few months, I am still a tad bit disappointed in the hot bar section which by comparison is non existent and the food is usually old and dried out. Doesnt seem to be a whole lot of maintenance going on with it. I see a person every now and then going around with a clipboard, but never see anyone actually attending to the food often times I go in and see 90% trays empty or food that hasnt been stirred all day and now has a nasty crust. Other than the hot bar, the seafood and meat department is very nice, the staff is helpful and friendly and always has what I need. I have always had a rule to never buy Supermarket Sushi, but the Sushi at this location as well as Boulder is quite good, but a tad overpriced compared to the other intown options. Produce section is also always green and full of fresh food. Havent seen any old or rotting food lying about that occasionally happens at the other markets. Overall this is a great new addition to the city with a very nice food selection for fresh foods. Its clean and doesnt feel compact. Easy to move around in and everyone is always helpful.

Seriously ignore the negative reviews on here. ITS ONLY BEEN OPEN FOR ABOUT A WEEK DURING CHRISTMAS. If they dont carry items you want them to then MAKE A REQUEST TO A MANAGER OR EMPLOYEE instead of negatively reviewing them in their first week of business. It has wide aisles, an amazing hot bar, an in house Sweet Action Ice cream shop w/ multiple vegan options, an in house Asian/Hawaiian bistro, in house pizza bar, coffee shop, and an amazing produce section. Its not nearly as big as the Boulder whole foods but its not a madhouse to find parking either. Longmont is a community of only 88,000 people and this is as good as I could have hoped, none of the other local grocery stores come close theyve even built in room to add aisles when demand calls for it. My only real critique is that I hope they will expand the bread shop in the future.

Obviously we are really pleased we have a Longmont Whole Foods. However, after giving the staff the benefit of the doubt for several weeks, its time to write a review that hopefully triggers some action. These people are so SLOW! Im pretty sure the hours are different than Boulder, more specifically, they dont open until 8am Sunday. Lame. It may be 8 everyday which is even worse. They are never ready to serve customers and once an employee has been engaged, it takes him/her way too long to provide a service. The deli counter... painfully slow. Coffee station... painfully slow and usually out of ingredients. Breakfast burritos... never out on time. COME ON GUYS! Theres been plenty of time to iron out the kinks. Make this a place we can rely on!

I anxiously anticipated this nearby Whole Foods, as I was driving to Boulders store at least weekly. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT it turned out to be. I can never go there and get everything I need. Either they are out of something they should be able to stock, or they dont carry something that you would take for granted. Want wild rice, they dont carry it. Want gluten free rolls, they are out. And just try to find something they do carry. Even the staff dont know where anything is. The only good thing about this store is that it isnt crowded -- looks like a lot of people share my frustration. I guess it wont matter if this store gets shuttered in the near future, cause I wont be shopping there much anyway.

We love the new Whole Foods in Longmont. The cafe and smoothie bar are a great way to treat yourself before grocery shopping begins. The produce is always fresh and we can usually scope out plenty of sales to avoid the pricier options. The meat and seafood counters have a great variety as well. Our toddler loves the little kids cow stand at the front of the store where she can pick out a piece of fruit or game to keep her entertained during shopping. The prepared foods section is huge here. Weve enjoyed the sushi and the hot bar for some quick dinners.

Went to bakery for dessert and gluten free products. There were 6-7 employees in the department, two were extremely busy, others were talking amongst themselves. I couldnt see the prices of the products because of the location or the labels identifying. I asked two of the people what the cost was and it was an effort for them to quit talking and help the customer. If you are losing money based on the WSJ, I suggest you get rid of half the staff and get people who want to work. No common sense, help the customer, keep your job when he buys something.

Seriously lacking Gluten free options in the delis. Event the Asian bowls all contain wheat based soy sauce. Salad bar was ok but pretty basic with nothing special. The hot items did not look fresh ( I was there at noon) or appealing. I was hoping they would have the protein bowls like they do in Boulder. Sadly, no protein bar. They didnt even have GF bread for sandwiches. I dont know why im giving even 2 stars-Im so disappointed. I guess because the Salmon I took home and ate with my own rice was quite good.

I live in Longmont, so when Whole Foods opened in Longmont I was really excited. Im used to getting really nice filets and well butchered meats at whole foods on Pearl street in Boulder, but the Longmont site has really let me down! We had to cut off a quarter of a 6 oz. filet of halibut because it was full of bones!! For the price, this is egregious. We will not buy fish from this location again. I guess we are stuck driving back to boulder.

I shop at Whole Foods primarily for the fish department. The Longmont stores fish department is terrible! Most items are frozen. Multiple times Ive brought fish home which was unedible. I dont understand since the Boulder stores fish department is so good. If Im not buying my fish here, Ill buy everything thing else somewhere else too. What a shame. I was so excited when they opened.

Selection: Lots of great choices Hot Food: The pizza was very good, it was kept warm. If it was hot I bet it would have been fantastic! Customer Service: Everyone was fun to talk to and in good spirits Price: More expensive than the good quality, a nice treat but you can get nearly as good of stuff for a lot cheaper Will Return: Occasionally

Over priced poorly kept salad bar... luckys and sprouts are cheaper and better.. for example they had no spinach at 1 pm, no feta on the salad bar basically everything looked meek and dirty... I threw what I had grabbed in the trash because I felt it was poor quality..also dont eat the Indian food unless you want an unexpected bowel movement

Rushed over to show up before 10am, out of eggs, bacon, sausage....sad morning. Salad bar is always sub-par and repetitive, even 2 hours before closing its usually desolate like they dont want to stock it so theyre ready to clean up and go home. The rest of the store is nice, unfortunately I generally only go here for their bars.
