I have been shopping here since they opened, as I was thrilled to hear there was an Indian grocer in Longmont. However, ever since their opening, there have been things that were not right with the operations. First, the prices. They have gone up regularly and are not in-line with other stores in the area, but this store is the closest so I continued to shop here. Second, I began noticing that many of the products on the shelves were expired, some long beyond the expiration date. Today was the last straw!!! I went in to return a food product that my daughter had an allergic reaction to yesterday. Krishna, the guy at the store, who knows me well, since I am a regular shopper and have spent a lot of money there, at first was fine with giving me a refund. When I told him the bag was opened - he refused to give me a refund - saying that he wouldnt be able to sell it and that $3.99 is not a big deal to me so he wouldnt give me a refund!! I am appalled at the way I was treated after all this time as a loyal customer! By the way this is the first time I have asked for a refund at this store. Even though I have inadvertently purchased expired products - I have just thrown them away!! I will be doing my shopping at Krishan Grocery in Louisville. Their vegetable are better quality and their prices are consistent and hopefully will not be fooled by the customer service. Buyer beware!!

A comfortable and friendly Indian food store in Longmont has what I need for most of my Indian food cravings. I love this place as much as the Indian grocery in Lafayette, and I dont have to drive half an hour to get there. They have Indian yogurt, chai teas, fresh prepared dosa batter, paneer cheese, ghee, gulab jamun and other sweets, large bags of basmati rice, all sorts of lentils, parathas, sambar, assorted dosas, idli, prepared dinner mixes, frozen ready to eat Indian meals, and betel nuts. The prepackaged, do your body good Indian spices like tumeric, cumin, coriander, and paprika among others are an excellent value. They have Asian and Indian vegetables including Thai eggplant, bags of curry leaves, mint leaves, taro, okra, assorted Indian squashes, hot and mild chilies, tamarind and more. The store is a little tricky to get to if you dont know where it is. I access the store off of Rt 119 right past Red Lobster on the right, or from Hover straight across from Oscar Blues. Since I found this place, I dont need to drive to Lafayette or Denver anymore to get Indian foods at great prices! If youre looking for new and familiar exotic tastes, I highly recommend this place to stock up at. I conceive this is a great place to shop also if you are a vegetarian.

The owner, Krishna, is AMAZING!!! I love that he calls us on Thursdays to inform us what hes got in the store. Hes got all the veggies and fruits you cant get anywhere else such as fresh karella, okra and daikon radish, jack fruit and lychees. He even carries organic lentils and beans, and the prices are great! I highly recommend to stop by SV Groceries, its just behind Egg & I on Ken Pratt close to Hover.

Wonderful food!! Wonderful man!! Kind, generous, and helpful. I highly recommend that you stop by and try the Indian snacks and assortment of other wonderful foods. Every Thursday, the store offers fresh (DELICIOUS) samosas at an outrageously low price. They also had some of the best smelling mangoes Ive ever had the pleasure of ogling. I wish I could give it more than five stars!!

How unlikely it is to find a place like this in Longmont, CO. It is a very nice Indian market with a good selection of foods and spices. It is very clean and neatly laid out. Prices are excellent. Much better than the place in Boulder on 28th.

The owner is a very honest and nice guy. He remembered about a billing mistake that he made weeks ago and gave us a refund the next time we visited the store. Unlike other Indian grocery stores, this store does NOT sell expired items.
