I am buying a washer and dryer through Best Buy, well i should say I bought on e a month ago. First the delivery drivers came early and out of time frame so they considered it a missed delievery at my fault. When i called the Geek Squad personal said they couldnt come back for a week i said fine, took the apt and asked for the manager to which her reply was "fine, but he will tell you the same thing" I sat on hold for almost 10min waiting fo r a manager and finally gave up. Then come the next Tuesday i receive an email stating just the stacking kit had been returned from my order. SO i called, explained i didnt cancel anything and it needed to be put back on. Nope. I either have to go back into the store or buy off the truck at delivery. Then they proceed to tell me i have no scheduled apt even though there is notes in the system reflecting my calling and asking for a manager. So the Geek squad didnt even make a new appointment to which i then had to wait another week. I had enough and went into the store to speak with management and they told me that theres nothing they can do about it. Personally I feel that they age using my age as ignorance and reasoning to treat me wrongly, but on the other hand they may just have extremely poor customer service thats steam not only from the store location but to the call centers and delivery personal as well. If it for any reason they mess up this time im just going to return the set, but im sure that will fight an uphill battle also. All -in-all, there are many other stores in the area you can get your products from then having to deal with an unorganized and rude company.

We have been loyal customers of both Best Buy and Verizon for 15+ years and have always been happy until now. We recently went in to upgrade a few of our phones with Verizon through Best Buy and have been lied to and blown off ever since. Our Best Buy representative went through pricing and the pros and cons of changing to the new Verizon Edge Plan for all three smart phones. We were shown on paper how we would not be paying any more a month and would actually be saving some money each month. We were skeptical but assured by 3 Best Buy Representatives that what they were showing us on paper was completely accurate. A month later, our bill was over double our usual monthly bill. We were then sent back and forth between Verizon and Best Buy because it is a Verizon plan but the sales person at Best Buy didnt do his data entry right at time of purchase. I have now been promised my bill would be credited over $120, threatened with disconnect notices, billed late fees, told on numerous occasions that the situation would be "righted", not followed up with, oh! and told that the Best Buy Representative was incorrect on his price promise and that they would have to be creative to find a way to fix our $100+ extra bill each month. That has not been addressed or fixed since either. We are almost 2 months out from our purchases with no resolution and a large monthly bill we were "misinformed" in to. Horrible experience!!!!

I purchased a dishwasher over memorial sale weekend. I got a great deal; however, it was a recall. The day before the delivery I received a call from their wearhouse saying it couldnt be delivered and I needed to go to the store. At the store, they were still showing the same model and when I told the sales associates about the recall, he didnt know about it and said "we shouldnt have sold you that unit". Then they wanted to give me a lower quality DW for the same $ I spent initially. I told them I wanted something similar to the one I purchased. The similar new model was more expensive now without the memorial day sale. I asked to price match it and finally they did it. Then I asked to add the movers discount 10 percent, the associate said it wouldnt be approved. I called to the 1888 best buy and gave my phone to the sales person, he said Best Buy wouldnt approve the discount either. I belived him. I left the store without buying anything and called 1888 Best Buy again and to my surprise, they have given him authorization to apply my movers 10 percent coupon. Bottom line, they sold me a recalled product, wihtout me coming to the store, they would have sold it to another person, they were up selling me and lied to me!! I am so dissapointed and I will recommend to not trust sales associates and GMs at the store.

I had an excellent experience there today. I havent been the biggest fan of Best Buy over the past few years since I had a bad experience at another branch some time ago, but the folks at this branch changed all that. I went in to get help removing a stripped screw from a hard drive. Based on my prior experience I expected to be waiting and then charged an outrageous amount. None of that happened. I was seen by their Geek Squad people in a matter of minutes, I felt like my issue was a top priority, and they were super personable and friendly. Billy from Geek Squad tried to remove it, then when their tools werent able to move it, he personally walked me back to their automotive department where Cory made his best efforts to get the screw out. When it still didnt give, he carefully Dremeled out a new groove and unscrewed it for me. They even through in a replacement screw. When I offered a tip, they declined it. These guys are great, I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for tech help. Everyone on this Geek Squad team was great (I wish Id gotten everyones names to give them credit here). Background: I work in IT as a computer support technician performing similar tasks to Geek Squad.

I received an E-mail about an Insignia 40" TV that was on sale for 159.99 I came into the store because I was told that it was in stock and that there was no need to purchase it on line. This was on a Friday night before they closed. I had time to run in and purchase it right then and there. The associate told me that I could come in the morning. I came in the following day and the TV was now for sale for 249.99 instead of the 159.99 The associate would not honor the E mail that I even had stored on my telephone. he did meet me in the middle at $200.00 but that is still $40 more than the price that had gotten. me to come in in the first place. I would have come in immediately had it not been for the phone call that I made the night before to see if it was in stock or if I needed to purchase it on line that night. I feel very tricked and very cheated by best buy. I am currently a best buy elite plus member and do spend a substantial amount at best buy every year. It is too bad that Best Buy is willing to lose a good customer over a $40 mistake that in my opinion is their fault. I did purchase the TV at $200 but I now have a very bad taste in my mouth over the whole transaction.
