I went to purchase a laptop, I wanted and ASUS and since they didnt have one, the sales clerk talked me into a Sony Vaio. Two weeks later the keyboard quit working and so I returned it and again got stuck with another Sony Vaio. I was told how to "fix" the issue. Of course it happened again and I tried this fix. It managed to delete my Office 2013 and Nortons, which I had paid for. I took it back and insisted on the ASUS. The girl in the computer section grabbed the wrong one, which I fortunately caught and then found out they did not have it in stock. I then had to deal with the Fort Collins Best Buy which was even worse as far as attitude. I asked them about the Office and Nortons and was told it would be fine as long as they deleted it from the Sony. I asked both the Loveland and Fort Collins Best Buy to take of this FOR me since I did PAY for Geek Squad protection. The Loveland said that the Fort Collins Best Buy would do it for me - this was not the case. I was just told to reinstall and all would be good. Again, this was not the case. I tried to install but it said my code was expired. I called Loveland Best Buy Geek Squad and I get a bunch of well I dont know what to tell you, there is nothing we can do" thats crap what they could have done was called Microsoft for me or they could have given me a new activation code to install it and swallowed the 140 since their computer that they sold me was the problem. I ended up on the phone all night with Microsoft (45 minute wait time just to get a person) in order to resolve the situation. Prior to this incident, I bought a Desktop from them and it quit working after about a month, but because I did not purchase "Geek Squad Protection" they will not do anything. The computer was supposedly new, but I found history on the computer showing that it clearly was bought, used, and brought back and then put back out on the shelf. Lesson: DO NOT BUY A COMPUTER FROM BEST BUY!!! This is an Addendum: I had to return the third computer and at that time asked for my money back both on the computer and the geek squad protection. They did not bother to tell me when i returned the other ones, but the geek squad protection did not transfer from one to the other, so if i had kept the last computer I would have had real problems after the return policy time ended. I did end up getting the money back for that as well. Also while I was there, I watched them putting previously used computers in boxes as the manufacturer would and put that particular brands tape on them to sell as new!

This is by far the worst Bestbuy I have shopped at. The worst part about it is it’s also the closest store to where I live. I have argued with sales associates and managers until we were both blue in the face over pricing. Just a few days ago I argued with them about a price that was on the front page of their sale ad. The price wasn’t showing up in their system so they said they couldn’t honor the price I was stating. Even after telling them it was on the front page of the sale ad, I had to walk up front and grab their sale ad to show it to the manager, point out the exact print to him for it to finally be honored. I find at this store, the customer is always wrong and what the employee or manager you are dealing with at the time says, goes! They won’t honor their own online price half the time, even though the company policy says they will. They are completely unknowledgeable about most everything they carry, and they are slow, lazy, rude, and annoying at customer service. Right through the door - "Hey, how you doing today? You mind me asking what you are currently doing for tv service? Have you thought about a dish?" Every single time I go there. Shut up, shut up, shut up! If I wanted a freaking dish, I would buy a dish. I don’t need you cramming that crap down my throat every single time I walk through your doors. I need helping finding a product your online site claimed you had in store that I can’t seem to find anywhere. Or I need help with what all the specs on a certain tv means..... this store is like a hemorrhoid..... It’s painful, annoying, stinks, and won’t go away fast enough!

I went to the Fort Collins store to ask about computer products and couldnt get any of the 6 employees standing around to help me. So I ended up at the Loveland store. I abhor the extra Centerra tax but needed a new laptop for school. Johann B. helped me out for almost an hour! He was very knowledgeable about all types of computers, printers, external HD, and several other products I questioned. I was impressed with the time he took, the professionalism and courtesy I received. I ended up with a MacBook Pro instead of a PC, which I LOVE! I also need to give major credit to Raul & Carols, the Best Buy delivery team! They were absolutely AMAZING! They showed up on time to deliver my Washer & Dryer set and even wiped their feet before coming inside. I live on the 3rd floor but that didnt stop them from being quick & careful with my appliances. They disconnected, removed my old set, installed & connected my new set perfectly. They also answered any questions I had and tested everything right in front of me to show it was done properly. I have been a Best Buy customer for years now and while some stores or employees may not be the greatest, I just keep asking around until I get the good associate. If you are a respectful customer, you will get a respectful associate. I was lucky and got 3! Thank You Best Buy, you will have a customer for life.

My family and I have purchased two laptops, a Nikon D3000, and various other smaller items from this Best Buy. Every time has been a positive experience. Each time the staff has been friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Recently, the second laptop that I purchased completely crashed. I had purchased a Geek Squad protection plan (which I would now highly recommend doing) for it, so I brought it in to the stores Geek Squad. I was afraid that it would be completely fried, but the staff was able to transfer all of my data onto an external hard drive, reset my laptop, transfer all of my data back onto my laptop, reinstall the Windows software, and reinstall my Kaspersky security software (and also offered to help reinstall Microsoft Office, but thats something I can do). My laptop gave them a lot of trouble, so they had to keep it for 3 days but they called me and kept me updated the whole time; and in the end, they completely fixed it and its running great. Overall, I am extremely happy with my experience at this Best Buy location. I would recommend to anyone!

The customer service here rates somewhere between going in for major surgery without anesthetic and walking over a floor covered in Legos...It is downright PAINFUL! I went in with my wife to order appliances for our new house that is being built. Our intent was to purchase a Kitchenaid fridge, double wall oven, hood, dishwasher, microwave, and cook top. We waited for over twenty minutes just to talk to someone in the appliance department and after the third time of him saying "just another second" we decided to leave. Instead of purchasing our $10K plus appliance package from Best Buy we will end up going to Lowes or Home Depot instead. My recommendation to the manager: a versatile sales staff makes for a more profitable business. Its okay to cross train your employees.
