I have been taking multiple vehicles to these guys for years because they are within walking distance of my office. They have always been significantly later than they say they are going to be. I have shown up after leaving my truck there for 4 hours only to find that they have not yet even pulled it inside. Recently we bought a pair of tires for my wifes car, when I dropped the car off I told them that it would need an alignment since we have a lifetime alignment and it was clearly out. I mentioned this several times as I wanted to make certain we werent going to drop $650 on tires only to ruin them. That afternoon I showed up at the time I was told the car would be ready, only to find it had not been put on a lift yet. I explained to them that I had Dr appointment in an hour and asked if they thought the car would be ready within 45 minutes. They assured me it would and that I did not need to cancel my appointment (which I had asked about specifically). One hour and 5 minutes later, when they told me the car was ready to go, there was no mention of an alignment nor was there the readout they typically give customers after an alignment. I asked them about it and the manager who was helping me assured me that the alignment had been done. I even explained that Id already missed my appointment and didnt mind waiting longer if necessary. The manager again said that it had been done already. I paid for my tires and left. A couple of days later I called and scheduled another alignment. When I took the car in to drop it off I asked the manager (the same guy) what all had been done during the last service of the car. He looked up the service record and told me they had done an oil change and installed new tires. I asked him if an alignment had been done, he responded that it had not. I then reminded him that just a few days prior he himself had assured me multiple times that an alignment had been done with the tire installation. I asked him if he didnt think it was pretty messed up that hed lie to me about it since I had just spent $650 to put new tires on the car. Over the course of the next 5 minutes, he swore up and down that he hadnt lied and it was all just a big misunderstanding. I used to think that these guys were just really bad estimating pickup times, I now know that theyre totally dishonest and have no qualms about lying to customers, even when it might mean that the customer destroys a brand new set of tires because of the lie. If youre wise, youll take your vehicle elsewhere, itll be a cold day in h3ll before I will trust these guys with mine again.

The Firestone Auto in Evergreen, CO is such a terrible business that I am amazed their franchise agreement has not been revoked. I purchased a lifetime alignment and after bringing the car in on seven occasions over the course of a year they were still not able to align it properly. During the last alignment the Firestone technician caused roughly $500 in damages to my vehicle by bending both front cam plates and destroying three of the cam tabs themselves. The damage was so extensive that I was required to bring the vehicle to Toyota specialist, as the dealer did not have the necessary equipment to correct the issue (grinding and welding of the frame was required). After I first discovered what they had done (they did not tell me they had caused any damage when I picked up the vehicle) I brought it in the next morning to ask for a repair and I was asked to leave the store since I had filed a claim with Firestone Corporate and it was "no longer their problem". When I asked to speak with the manager, I was again told "Please leave, its not our problem". Thankfully Firestone Corporate provided a rental car and paid for the repair in full. To make things worse the shop that repaired my vehicle inspected it upon arrival, and informed me that Firestone had clearly doctored my alignment report so things appeared in spec. Firestone is a great company and helped to make things right, however I believe that the owner / manager of this store should be fired if they are concerned with their reputation.

Had very good friends come in from England driving a Grand Caravan they borrowed from our friends in Ohio, they got to my house with a malfunctioning rack and pinion steering rack. I have a commercial lift and great tools, so not a problem, fairly easy job went to Evergreen to get the new unit from an auto parts store and got home and installed the new steering unit. Made an appointment to get the alignment dialed in the next day at the Firestone store and was done quick thought that was very good, but when My company from England got half way back to Ohio today, they had problems and looked under the front end, the lazy idiot that did the alignment never took the hose clamps off the boots to adjust the tierods, instead just twisted the steering rods with the boots and set the toe. Leaving the boots twisted so bad the first time they made a hard turn it just ripped the boots to shreads. Which ruined the warranty on the brand new steering rack and caused the unit to start leaking....who cares they were from out of town and thye will never see them again. Well not the case here I recomended this place to do the repairs and for the top dollar they got charged this should have been done right ! FIrestone main office will hear from me and my friends from England. Shoddy workmanship !

Two weeks ago, a tire on a utility trailer of mine came off its rim. I brought it in and Jessie took it back and had it reset and sealed while I waited. Five minutes later he returned with it good as new. When I asked what I owed, he said not to worry about it. Because of that service, I scheduled my oil change with them for today. Due to the weather and traffic, I was about 20 minutes late to my appointment. When I called to let them know Id be late, Brian assured me that they would still get me in and take care of me. When I arrived he promptly processed me in and got my car into the bay to start working on. While waiting I let him know that I was having a tough time with Costco getting new tires. I had already purchased them but they had to order them and I had no clue when they would be in. He then proceeded to not only match the price Costco gave me, but beat it! I am now scheduled to get my tires put on while I have some brake work done in a few days. I will be calling Costco to cancel my tires shortly. I will admit that a few years ago I had some very bad service at this location but will say without a doubt that the service now is top-notch. I would definitely recommend them even though they tend to be pretty busy.

The consummate example of a mechanic taking advantage of a seemingly uninformed woman. My wife took our Subaru in to have the tires rotated. We recd a WRITTEN report back recommending an $800+ brake job to include replacing all four sets of rotors and brake pads. After taking the vehicle to TWO other reputable mechanics (Oldes and Marcys), they BOTH said the front brake pads needed replacing, however the rear set of pads had over 50% of useful life, and the rear rotors were fine and the front set of rotors simply needed to be turned. The gauges used to determine these measurements produce black & white results ... this is not a simple matter of mechanics interpretation. RESULT: a $200 repair from Marcys Automotive instead of over $800 quoted from Evergreen Firestone. I find the Evergreen Firestone to be real eager to sell unnecessary products & services (and its not the first time I have experienced this nor the first time I have heard this about the Evergreen Firestone). This kind of behavior is what gives auto mechanics a bad name ... which is not fair to the mechanics and auto repair places who are honest.
