WORST COMPANY EVER. I will never buy another product from them again. Lets start from the beginning. I purchased a sofa, coffee table, end table, rug, tv stand, and some other misc nick knacks. The tv stand came in damaged, and it looks like they took wood glue and tried to glue it back together. So after ten phone calls and seven idiots later I finally got a new tv stand on order. I called once or twice a month and every time they had no idea what I was talking about. They came out and told me they forgot and they would ship a floor model that I could have on loan until my tv stand came in. Six months later I finally got my tv stand. So I decide to do the no interest financing to pay for everything and of course they started billing me for everything before I received everything. Which that took 7 idiots to figure out how to fix. As an FYI if you do the no interest financing beware, they allocate the money how they see fit, not how it should be. They took my payments and allocated the money to the product that was due last instead of first, because they want to try and charge you interest. I caught on to this in time so I didnt get charged interest, but I had to cut a large check. I cut that check and they still allocated it wrong even though I was told it would be allocated properly. When I called in they said I was misinformed and that I would have to cut a check for $150.00 to pay off the $67.00 I owed. They are incompetent donkeys that dont know their own system. To summarize everything the rug I bought is falling apart, there is a hole forming in my sofa, and the expandable coffee table doesnt hold up like it used to. I have had all of this for less than one year and I am sincerely disappointing in their quality of product, their customer service skills are disastrous, and their credit dept is filled with idiots. For being located in Cherry Creek, you think they would have quality stuff but their products and service are disgraceful. They didnt care when I told them over the phone, so I am sure they wont care now, but I WILL NEVER BUY FROM WEST ELM AGAIN!!!

We have loved the furniture from west elm for a while and already have some of it in our home. We have just purchased a new home and needed 3 full rooms of Furniture. When we first walked in we were greeted by a very nice lady and she was very helpful, however once Mark ( who we found out after was the manger) came in contact with us it all went down hill to the point where we walked out telling them we are clearly not welcome here and will go else where. We had our son who is 21 months old with us, they have a couch on the floor that he had climbed up and sat on apparently leaving a couple and I do mean a couple of crumbs on the couch, Mark rudely walked over to me and said chocolate, oh, when I asked him if he had chocolate on him and smiled he replied with :ya allover my couch" I walked over to look feeling very unhappy with how the manager was handling the situation, Just as I suspected i brushed the little amount )( I wish I would have taken a pic) and the walked back over to the dining table we were purchasing. He talked to me as if we didnt belong in the store and he was sooooo much better then us. At that point I asked him if this piece next to the table was a buffet or an entertainment piece, he replied to me with dont worry about it, its sold. I instantly thought to myself you jerk who do you think you are, my husband was on the other side of the store and about that time he encountered Mark with him telling him would you like me to get a rag for you to get all the chocloate out of our couch, cuz I can do that for you. It was not the fact of the chocolate, which again hardly there it was how he went about it. He was very condescending to us and flat out rude with how he treated us. we will not be back and are shocked to find out they are connected to Pottery barn. WE have contacted corporate. Basically if you have children or are young and dont fit the "cherry creek" look your not good enough to be there, or at least that s the message Mark sent

We came to West Elm yesterday hoping to take a look at a sample of the Rosewood finish. At first, we couldnt find anyone to help us. We asked a woman in the design center if we could look through a box of wood samples we saw, she looked through most of them, and said there was no rosewood sample. We asked if anything in the store was rosewood, so we could get an idea of the color. She said no. She turned and started working on a computer, and I thought she was looking for a good example of the color; after waiting a few minutes, I realized she started helping someone else. At this point, I was a little frustrated. Then Edward asked if we needed help. We told him that we wanted to see the Rosewood finish, and he asked someone in the warehouse to bring up a nightstand so we could see it. He asked what product we were ultimately interested in, and we told him the Mid Century Bed (which is no longer available in Rosewood, but we were told we could order via backorder over the phone). Edward said he thought he saw one in the warehouse about a week ago. He looked in his computer system, which said they did not. He called the warehouse, they said they did not. Then he called again and explained where he thought he saw it, and they found it! It was the last one, on sale, and he even helped us find a coupon code for an extra percentage off! He was awesome to work with. Oftentimes, we, as young professionals, feel like we dont get the same service that other individuals who look wealthier receive - I dont know if they dont take us seriously, or if they just dont think were there to purchase. But Edward made us feel like we had his full attention. We walked out with the queen Mid Century Bed, and two of the Heston night stands, in Rosewood. All at a discount, and all in stock. We couldnt be more pleased!

Like most reviewers here, I have had the the worst customer service experience with West Elm Cherry Creek. Delivery is always a huge debacle and after purchasing a table, bench, console, 2 rugs, and a dresser, not ONE of item has ever been in stock or delivered during the specified time. We went in to buy a table that said Take me home today and when we tried to, the sales rep said, Oh...thats just something we put on all the merchandise to entice people to buy it, its probably not in stock. (It wasnt). Go through the process of the scheduling delivery, you have 2 options. You can either get free delivery to the store in 6-8 weeks or White Glove Delivery to your door in 1-3 weeks. I asked why cant it get delivered to the store (4 blocks from my house) in 1-3 weeks. Apparently it comes form a different warehouse? Seems like they are trying to inconvenience you for not paying their ridiculous shipping costs. I could go on and on about each one of my experiences but I will spare you the time, they are all pretty much the same. And when you do call in to check status, they are so rude. This is partly my fault bc I continued to order things from the store despite the horrible customer service. I also wrote a letter to the customer service department and never even got an acknowledgement. With so many other amazing furniture options, I wonder why this place is still in business. (I know, I know, suckers like me.)
