I had an unbelievably surreal experience with assistant manager "Jen". She is the patron saint of the blank stare customer service drones customers have come to know and love throughout the world. While talking to her you get the overwhelming sense you are trying to explain physics to a chimp. I wouldnt be surprised to learn she is really part of some secret cabal of customer service twits bent on the destruction of the Western world. And what a damn good job theyre doing too! Anyway, I digress. Heres my little story, such as it is. I brought back a slow cooker that was recalled for being dangerous. Apparently the handles break and people are burned as a result. I found this out while attempting to repair a broken handle on the lid. It didnt make sense to repair a lid handle on something that was dangerous to begin with. Such is the curse of logic. I read a post from another Walmart customer who also found this out and simply brought the cooker back to their local Walmart and exchanged it. Apparently the customer service reps at that particular Walmart are required to take an I.Q. test before being employed. Unfortunately, the Walmart near me isnt so discerning because I would surmise Jens I.Q. is probably somewhere in the neighborhood of the ambient temperature in January. Jen explained she couldnt take back the cooker because it wasnt on the recall list. I showed her on my cell phone the web page describing the recall for that exact product. Her eyes suddenly glazed over and she took a few minutes to process this information without actually going into tilt mode. She then told me couldnt take it back because she didnt know the UPC code for the product. Whereupon I asked "So you are willing to piss off a customer who probably spends thousands of dollars a year at Walmart (yes Im that high class) because you cant find the UPC code for a dangerous $30 item you sold?" And yes folks, the dead do walk among us, because Jen, that bastion of clear thinking and common sense, simply replied "yes." She didnt laugh or so much as wince under the weight of such overwhelming irony. Needless to say, I promptly forgot about the slow cooker and immediately contacted the Department of Defense. We are now working together on project trying to harness the awesome power of such pure, profound, and undefiled ignorance against which nuclear weapons are powerless. So you see, there is a happy ending after all! Happy if you can manage to avoid Jen and the oh so selective Walmart in Vacaville, that is. Caveat - Dont ever wrestle with a pig. Youll both get dirty, but the pig will enjoy it.

I am not a big Walmart fan, so its hard for me to post a positive review about them. Some of the employees are friendly and some are not. As usual, many times your questions go unanswered because the people are not trained in much except on how to take your money. Their prices are not like the days of old when they were quite a bit lower. They have now increased their prices to be competitive with most other businesses. Is not a place that I like to go because the aisles are crowded and a lot of times they dont seem to have what I need or want.

Phone service was good, but a visit to the store reminded me why I never shop here for food. The restrooms are consistently filthy and poorly maintained. I often have my grandchildren with me, so we see the restrooms every trip. Nearby, Sams Club, Target, and Koles have clean, well maintained restrooms. The Vacaville Walmart, however, has some of the dirtiest restrooms I have seen at a Walmart. I dont know who is responsible for this, but they are clearly not on top of the issue.

I love my Walmart! I just wish beef was less expensive, Im tired of chicken. I think food prices are way out of line, seniors suffer the most, on limited incomes. At least Walmart has enough sale items to make up for giving up luxury items. I will never shop at Safeway, raleys or lucky, its just throwing money down the drain. The employees are wonderful too! Ive never had a bad experience there, thank you Vacaville Walmart!

The staff are super nice here. Much nicer than at the other Wal-Marts Ive been to. I was sitting, waiting for my ride and a young lady actually came up to check on me and make sure I was alright. The lines moved quickly, and even the cashier was really nice and helpful. She tracked me down a coupon when I warned her I was getting close to my limit. The greeter, Myisha, deserves a raise. Shes super sweet!

I called simply to find out if they had a video game available when I got on the phone with the women she was immediately hostile leaving me speechless for a few second which she then yelled "do you want something or not" when I asked her for her name she refused and when I asked to speak with a manager I was hung up on. Worst experience with a Walmart Ive ever had the displeasure of working with

Waited on hold for 12 minutes to be told that they could not give me a price quote on an oil change because, "it costs different for different oils." When I asked well what are my options ?what kind of oil can I choose from? She answered your best bet is to call us tommorow, that section is closed now. The tirevlubecexpress is closed before 5? She said I dont know why , but its closed today.

Friendliest Walmart staff Ive ever met. I just moved here and Jose in the deli has exceeded my expectations on every visit. I just met cashier Trevor and he was super friendly as well. Yesterday my cashier (didnt catch her name) was having an actual, real, no B.S. conversation with me. I keep coming back to this Walmart and I hate going into Walmart! Even the shoppers are friendly here!

The customer service manager Miguel is so very rude & unprofessional. He definitely has a power trip and treats you as if he is superior. The store is never stocked. Most of the employees are just oblivious and unwilling to help at all. You always see them texting or in a group talking. I will drive the extra distance to shop at the Dixon store.

I prefer the Fairfield Wal-Mart for its size an selection, but Vacaville for its convenience. They always seem to be out of what I need. And the employees leave their carts in thd way when stocking. They never even look up to say excuse me, or see if they are blocking when I need. The place isnt horrible, but its not 5 star.

Went to get Flowers to put on Hubby grave today(6/11/2017) ask a Wal-Mart-mart worker if the flower I seen were all they had because they looked DEAD While, we were talking THE FLOWER DISAPPEARED! An hour later, I return back to Wal-Mart & the Flower Stand was FULL OF FLOWERS. WAS THIS A RACIST THING?

I did my grocery shopping here. Vegetables were good tonight. A lot of the time at this particular Walmart the fresh produce is not so good. They were low on some apples, and a few of them were on the soft side. This Walmart is a mini super Walmart. Good if you need to get more than just groceries.
