I had the oil changed on my Civic over my lunch hour. When the service guy gave me the keys he warned me they found a little oil under the car. He said they werent sure if it was from the previous car or from mine. Ive never had it leak a drop of oil, so I thought nothing of it. Well, I drove home to Danville and later that night found a HUGE puddle of oil under the car. I limped it in to Walnut Creek Honda the next morning and they found the oil pan was cracked near the drain plug. Obviously, Vacaville Honda must have damaged it during the oil change. At this point I was wondering how Vacaville Honda would handle this. Knowing car dealerships, I figured they would either a.) deny causing the damage, even though there is no other reasonable explanation, or b.) ask to see the damage before they take action. Of course, I have no way of getting the car from Walnut Creek to Vacaville with a catastrophic oil leak. Enter Nate Sanchez, Vacaville Honda Service Manager. He spoke with Walnut Creek Hondas Service Manager and then called me. He was extremely helpful and accommodating. He immediately said that the damage was almost certainly caused by the oil change (overtightening the drain plug), and they would make it right. He would have the car towed up to Vacaville that day and repaired. Then, he went even further above and beyond. He had the car driven down to my house in Danville the following morning!! I was shocked, to say the least. I wouldve never guessed Vacaville Honda would go so far to correct the situation. Im giving them 5 stars with an asterix. I cant imagine what the service tech who worked on my car was thinking. He must have known he cracked the oil pan, particularly since he mentioned the oil under the car. I dont know if he thought I wouldnt notice a geyser-like oil leak...? That part I dont understand, but the part I do understand is the absolutely Outstanding way in which Nate Sanchez handled the situation. To me, that speaks volumes about how they value their customers. The whole reason I go to a dealer for a simple oil change is because I think they will take better care of my car than a Quick Change place(and presumably use better quality oil and filter). Initially I was shocked at the damage and dumbfounded as to why the tech wouldnt immediately fess up to such obvious damage. After receiving my car back, I feel my confidence in Vacaville Honda was very justified. Im not saying theyre perfect (obviously), but with a Service Manager like that, I think they deserve our business.

A horrible experience on two separate occasions! Once on a used Audi last year and just this week on a brand new Accord. Avoid Larry Goss in sales at all cost! If things dont go the way he wants them to, he gets ugly. Strong-arm tactics, ultimatums, disrespectful and demeaning towards women in particular. Total lack of appreciation towards what the customer wants. Larry tried to shove a white accord down our throat after we told him we wanted Silver instead. He told us he could do a dealer trade in 1 hour then comes back and says "Its the white car tonight or no deal". I told him that we only wanted to get the color she wanted at the best possible value. We said we would consider coming back the following day and he threw his hands up and walked away. I think he needs to find a new line of work. I have been working around car dealers my entire life and this is place definitely the worst as they permit him act this way. Some of his rants towards us were in front of Management and they did nothing. We went to Fairfield Honda the next day in the morning. They were very polite, courteous and respectful and we only negotiated one time and found a "fair and equitable" compromise right away! We got the Silver Accord EX-L that we wanted with $500 in extras (molded floor mats and trunk mat with wheel locks included) all for $500 less than Vacaville Honda and the same trade value with a great interest rate! Essentially we saved $800 in total and had a really pleasant, no nonsense experience. Dont bother with Vacaville Honda. It may be a pretty new building but you will get treated poorly and taken advantage of. Take the drive to Steve Hopkins Fairfield and you get a better deal and receive the best customer service in the area!

My wife and I were recently on your lot and got approached by a sales person (expected). I told him we were just looking, he replied, "Ya, until you buy something". My wife told him that we were not going to buy a car and just wanted to walk around and look at cars. This sales person followed us around and repeatedly tried to sale us a vehicle. Yes, we told him repeatedly told him we were not buying a car. We decided to leave, but stopped to look at one last car. The sales person went and got another sales person and they both approached us. The new sales person again asked us about purchasing a car. My wife stated, Its real sad we cannot just walk around and look with out being pressured so hard about buying a car. The new sales person stated, What do you expect, if we came to your house you would follow us around". (Ridiculous analogy this is not his home) Then he kept saying some unintelligible comments as he walked away, while waving his arms around. I did say, "Man you are an a#$hole", and I apologize for that. The other sales person just said, "Oh well". To be honest with you we were very interested in an Accord and wanted to be left alone to just look on our own. I have no doubt not all your sales persons are like that, but I just could not believe the comments and pressure that came from your sales persons on Monday.

Avoid this place buy all means. We agreed to buy a car from this place, came back 2 days later and they switch the car on us. When we confronted them saying this wasnt the car we drove and wanted they lied to our face. Clearly we drove a nice white honda with tinted windows on rims and a sun roof that had a small cigarett burn we came back to find a basic honda with 1,500 extra miles on it no tinted windows no sun roof on stock rims and no burn hole. The sales lady tried to tell us she fixed the burn mark and removed the tint. Then we reach finance only to find they changed all the prices everything went up from the % rate to the money down to the monthly payments. We had no problem standing up and walking right out. These people are crooks and complete slim balls. I wont ever give these people my money or step foot on there lot. Spread the word your better off somewhere else. Now if only they would stop calling me to come in and pick up that POS basic Honda.

We were on our way to Tahoe and broke down in Vacaville. Luckily we were super close to Vacaville Honda. We drove in at 3:30 pm on a Saturday and they took a look at our van IMMEDIATELY. The prognosis was dismal but they figured it all out and amazingly had the part that was needed to fix the car. Within 1.5 hours we were back on the road. Reasons I love them: 1. They squeezed us in on a Saturday LATE afternoon 2. They worked really hard to diagnose the problem quickly as we did not have much time before closing. 3. They did not charge me for the diagnosis which other dealerships typically charge $150 for. 4. Once they figured out the problem they quickly assessed if they had the part in stock and made the fix! As we were on our way to Tahoe for New Years it would have been horrific if they were not so kind and hard working as we would have been stuck in Vacaville for 2 days! THANK YOU Vacaville Honda!!! You guys ROCK!
