0 Stars- Worst customer service I have experienced in my life. I had purchased an over-the-range microwave based on false claims made by their sales department. The microwave was 30 in wide and had to fit in a 36 inch space between my cabinets. The salesperson assured me several times that the delivery driver would provide the necessary fittings to fill the gap between the wall and the microwave in order to make the microwave fit properly. On delivery day, the delivery man stated that he had no such piece, and the microwave was returned to the factory. I visited the store in person and they told me that I would receive a full refund. Although they credited me for the delivery charge, they NEVER REFUNDED ME FOR THE COST OF THE MICROWAVE. I am out the cost of the microwave that was never delivered. I visited the store in person FOUR TIMES over a two month period to speak to the manager and each time they told me they would look into it and call me back. THEY NEVER CALLED ME BACK. I had to contact my credit card company to report this incident, and THEY LIED TO MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY telling them that they had already issued me a refund for the microwave. They have the microwave and they have my $200!! Oh, and BTW, on one of the four occasions that a spoke to their sales department, there was another customer complaining that the delivery had messed up their order, and it sounded like that person was being denied there refund as well. This Sears cannot get their act together with their delivery service and they are making their customers pay for it. Has anyone else had a similar experience with this Sears? Maybe we can all go to small claims court?

Absolutely disappointed, my mom was paying for their apparel when a cashier offer her a 15% discount if she apply for the credit card, the system was slow, my mom have an A+1 credit; the cashier tell us that the credit card application it will be revised and my mom will receive a letter in the fallowing days, the bad is that we ask to the cashier if the application will be fast and she tell us that only 2 minutes, when she tell us that the discount doesnt apply because she wasnt approved in the moment. What is weird Is that she wasnt approve even when we know that her credit score is excellent. A supervisor named Katrina was present and we noticed that the cashiers have a quote of credit cards to be covered, I respectfully suggest her to train the cashiers to tell to the clients that the 15% off apply only is the application is approved and give to the client the discount as a thank you for the time expended waiting for the process. I agree that the client that is denied for the credit application shouldnt have any reward or discount for the bother, but no if someone that apply and know that the possibility of be approved is high. we feel cheated. I almost forgot to mention that my mom is a tourist and she does not speak any English, she made the line to pay her apparel, when she get to a first cashier this one doesnt speak Spanish but the other two cashiers do speak Spanish, instead to move my mom to another cashier that understand her this bad aptitude cashier sent her back to the long line again, all in presence of the supervisors.

Remember the days when the guys used to just hang out in the Sears tool department and admire all those Craftsman power and hand tools? Craftsman set the standard in tools for many of us. And the service! It was awesome. Tool breaks...just bring it in, and Sears would repair or replace it. Well, those days are gone. I have a Craftsman belt sander and a router. Both are about 35 years old, and have been very well cared for. I needed some minor repairs on both, and contacted the Torrance CA store about where I could take them. I wasnt expecting to get it done for free - I just wanted to know where to take it. At first the person I spoke with in the tool department said, "Sears doesnt repair power tools, and I dont know where you can get them repaired." Really?? After I pushed back a little (nicely!), she gave me the number of a store in Norwalk, CA that "repairs Craftsman power tools." Thank you! I called them, and they only repair air compressors. Im still on the hunt for someone who can repair my tools, but came to the sad realization that yet another American icon had transformed itself. If I want to buy baby clothes for my grandchildren, Ill go to Sears. If I want to buy tools that can be backed up with the proper service and support, Ill find another store. Too bad.

By far one of the worst customer service experience I have ever had and I didnt even buy anything!!! The saleswoman Rosie was extremely rude. She made a comment about the washer I had in mind and when I asked what issues the washer had she commented by saying, "I dont know, Im not a mechanic." I brought my friend who bought a washer and dryer and Rosie proceeded to be very rude with her questions, interrogating her with the choices she made. Also, when her computer would not work she would curse under her breath and make comments to her colleagues standing a few feet over. The list goes on and my entire experience there was horrible. Being a manager myself, if my staff EVER provided customer service like Rosie did tonight, it would be the end of it. I hate writing bad reviews and I normally give 5 stars because I applaud when deserved. This was by far not deserved. If you dont enjoy youre job, then theres the door. I went to Lowes and bought my washer and dryer there. The sales consultant was very friendly and I will be giving him 5 stars and writing a letter of his exceptional performance.

Sears is cool I guess we were just very disappointed when we went and bought my moms boyfriend a new dishwasher for Christmas after he opened it we tried to install it but found out that it did not come with a power cord that you plug into the wall or any of the hose mountings for the incoming water then when we went back to Sears we didnt even have to finish your sentence because they knew what we needed cuz I guess a lot of people have that same issue that we had. It would have at least been better if when we bought it the first time that they would have told us that the certain dish washing machine we bought didnt come with those two main components would have been way more helpful. But the guy we talked to was very nice and knowledgeable and help us out what we needed to get a connected. So next time were at Sears make sure if u buy a big appliance to ask them if it comes at least with the power cord lol or any other main component that might be missing. Decide that after we got it all hooked up it works amazing and cleans the dishes very well
